18-36. Only candidates born between 02.01.1988 and 01.01.2006 (both dates included) are eligible to apply for this post. Other Backward Communities and SC/ST candidates are eligible for usual age relaxation. Note : The upper age limit shall be relaxed in the case of the labourers of the Meat Products of India to the extent of their service in the Meat Products of India Limited subject to a maximum of 50 years, if they are otherwise qualified. They shall produce, along with applications, certificates, showing their service (with the date of commencement and termination) in the Meat Products of India Limited, obtained from the Head of the Meat Products of India.

1. Pass in standard 12 th or its equivalent. (a) Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology Course (DMLT) conducted by the Directorate of Medical Education ,Govt. of Kerala or its eqivalent. And (b) 3 years experience in Meat/Food Analysis in Central or State Government Service or Public Sector Undertaking or registered Private Enterprises. OR 2. B.Sc. Degree in Nutrition and Dieting from a recognized University or its equivalent.

(i) 01 (One) vacancy of the above post is set apart, owing to the absence of Differently Abled (DA) candidates belonging to Hearing Impairment category and as per PWD Act 2016, for advising candidates belonging to the same DA candidates, in their absence from other DA Category and in their absence from General Category, from the ranked list to be published in response to this notification. (ii) The Ranked list of selected candidates published by the Commission in response to this notification shall remain in force for a minimum period of one year and a maximum period of three years, provided that the said list will continue to be in force till the publication of a new list after the expiry of the minimum period of one year or till the expiry of three years whichever is earlier. Candidates will be advised from the said list against the vacancies noted above and that may be reported to the Commission in writing during the period of currency of the list. (iii) The Kerala Public Service Commission shall have the power to cancel the advice for appointment of any candidate to the above post, if it is subsequently found that such advice was made under some mistake. On such cancellation, the appointing authority shall terminate the service of the candidate, provided that, the cancellation of advice for appointment by the Commission and subsequent termination of service of the candidate by the appointing authority shall be made within the period of probation or 240 days from the date of joining duty whichever is earlier. (iv) 4% vacancies of the total vacancies reported shall be reserved for eligible Differently Abled candidates with disabilities as specified vide G.O.(P) No.5/2023/SJD dated 01.10.2023. Note:- (1) Rule 10(a)ii of Part II of KS&SSR is applicable. (2) In addition to the qualifications prescribed in this notification, the qualifications recognized by executive orders or standing orders of Government as equivalent to a qualification specified for the post, in the Special Rules or found acceptable by the Commission in cases where acceptance of equivalent qualifications is provided for in the rules and such of those qualifications which pre–suppose the acquisition of the lower qualification prescribed for the post, shall also be sufficient for the post. The copy of the Government orders declaring equivalent / higher qualifications shall be produced as and when required by the Commission. (3) Only those candidates who have made entries regarding details of experience and uploaded scanned documents in the above prescribed format can apply for the post. (4) The Experience should be one acquired after obtaining the academic or other basic qualifications and prior to the Last date fixed for receipt of application for the post. (5) The Experience Certificates should be countersigned by an Authorized Officer of the State/ Central Government. The genuineness of the Experience Certificate will be subjected to scrutiny and legal action will be taken against those who issue or produce bogus certificate. (6) Please specify the post held or nature of assignment – Casual Labourer, Paid/ Unpaid Apprentice /Regular Worker or Temporary Worker. (7) Probation: The Probation period is applicable as per the provisions of the Special Rules of the Meat Products of India Limited.
