18-36. Only candidates born between 02.01.1989 and 01.01.2007 (both dates included) are eligible to apply for this post with usual age relaxation will be given to Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe and Other Backward Classes. Note :- For concessions allowed in upper age limit, subject to the condition that the maximum age limit shall in no case exceed 50 years, please see para (2) of the General Conditions under Part II of the Gazette Notification.

1.General A Pass in Pre-degree or equivalent examination with not less than 50% marks or 'B' grade in science subjects. S.S.L.C or equivalent for Ex-servicemen who have passed Class I Blood Transfusion Assistant Test and have put in not less than 15 years service in the Armed Forces. 2.Technical A Pass in one year Medical Laboratory Technician Diploma Course conducted by the Medical Colleges in Kerala and by the Public Health Laboratory,Thiruvananthapuram or any qualification equivalent thereto.

(i) The above vacancies are now in existence. A separate Ranked lists will be prepared for the above districts in pursuance of this notification. The Ranked Lists thus prepared and published by the Commission shall remain in force for a minimum period of one year, subject to the condition that the said Ranked list will continue to be in force till the publication of a new Ranked List after the expiry of the minimum period of one year or till the expiry of three years whichever is earlier. Candidates will be advised for appointment against aforesaid vacancy and also against the vacancies, if any, reported during the currency of the Ranked Lists. (ii) The selection in pursuance of this notification will be made on a Revenue District basis, subject to the special conditions laid down in GO(Ms) No. 154/71/PD dated, 27.05.1971. A candidate advised for appointment in one Revenue District from the Ranked List prepared is not eligible for transfer to another District unless he/she completes five years of continuous service from the date of commencement of service in the former District. Even if transfer is allowed after five years, it will be subject to the rules in GO(P) No. 36/91/P&ARD dated, 02.12.1991. Candidates already in Government service holding the same post in any one District are prohibited from applying again for this post, but they can apply to higher/lower posts when notified. (iii) Candidates should submit applications for the post to any one of the above districts and should note the name of that district against the relevant column in the online application. Applications should not be submit to more than one district in response to this notification. If applications are sent contrary to the above direction, any if he/she is selected, his/her name will be removed from the ranked lists and disciplinary action will be taken against him/her. (iv) 4% of the fresh vacancies reported shall be reserved for eligible differently abled candidates with disabilities as specified vide G.O(P) No.05/2024/SJD dated 07.02.2024. (v) Relaxation of 10% of marks for Pre-Degree will be allowed to candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribe and 5% marks to candidates belonging to other backward classes. (vi) KS&SSR Part II Rule 10 (a) (ii) is applicable for selection to this post. (vii) In addition to the qualifications prescribed in this notification, the qualifications recognized by executive orders or standing orders of Government as equivalent to a qualification specified for the post, in the Special Rules and such of those qualifications which pre-suppose the acquisition of the lower qualification prescribed for the post, shall also be sufficient for the post. The copy of the Government orders declaring equivalent/higher qualifications shall be produced as and when required by the Commission.
