18-40. Only Candidates born between 02.01.1983 and 01.01.2005 (Both dates included) are eligible to apply for this post with usual relaxation to SC/ST and other Backward communities. Note:- For concessions allowed in upper age limit subject to the condition that the maximum age limit shall in no case exceed 50 (fifty) years of age, please see Para 2 of the General Conditions under Part II of this notification.

(A) A Bachelors Degree with Mathematics or Statistics as Main Subject and B.Ed/B.T in the concerned subjects conferred or recognized by the Universities in Kerala. (B) Must have passed the Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test(K-TET) for this post conducted by the Government of Kerala. C (i) Must have passed SSLC/Plus Two/Pre-Degree with Tamil as I or II Language. OR (ii) A pass in Degree or Post Graduation in Tamil Language . (In the absence of the qualifications referred in (i) & (ii) above, its equivalent shall also be considered. (G.O(P)No.166/16/G.Edn.Dated 30.09.2016).

One vacancy for the above post set apart as per PWD Act 2016, due to the non-availability of candidates belonging to DA - Low Vision, in the previous ranked list for this post will be filled up from the candidates belonging to the same DA category from the ranked list published as per this notification. If candidates are not available in the respective DA category the vacancy will be filled up from other available DA categories and in the absence of DA candidates the vacancy will be filled up from general category. 4% of the total vacancies reported shall be reserved for eligible differently abled candidates with disabilities as specified vide GO(P)No.5/2023/SJD dated 01.10.2023. Exemption for TET: Candidates who have qualified CTET/NET/SET/M.Phil/Ph.D in the respective subjects/M.Ed in any subject are exempted from acquiring TET. Rule 10(a) ii of part II of KS&SSR is applicable for this post. Special concessions regarding appointment and age limit for wives of Jawans, First Class Scouts and Guides, Laboratory Attenders, and Teachers of Government Primary and Nursery Schools are applicable as per the notification.
