1. Certificate in Architectural Draftsmanship awarded by the Industrial Training Centres of the Government of Kerala. (Two year course with training) OR National Trade Certificate in Architectural Draftsmanship with training awarded by the National Council for Vocational training (NCVT) New Delhi or its equivalent qualification. 2. Proficiency in Computer drafting in Auto CAD level 1 & 2 or in any similar Architectural CAD software notified as equivalent by the Government of Kerala from time to time. 3. One year computer aided building drafting experience under a Registered Architect or any Registered Civil Engineering Firm. (LINK) EQUIVALENT / HIGHER QUALIFICATION Note:- Proficiency in Computer drafting shall be proved by conducting a Practical Test by the Public Service Commission at the time of selection.

1. Rule 10 a (ii) of part II of KS&SSR is applicable. 2. Candidates who claim equivalent qualification instead of qualification mentioned in the notification shall produce the relevant Government Order to prove the equivalency at the time of verification, then only such qualification shall be treated as equivalent to the prescribed qualification concerned. 3. In the case of difference in original caste/ community claimed in the application and that entered in SSLC book, the candidate shall produce a Gazette notification in this regard, along with Non Creamy Layer Certificate at the time of certificate verification. 4. Candidates should obtain Experience Certificate in the following format and should enter details in their profile regarding experience (Certificate Number, Date, Name of post, Period, Issuing Authority, Name of Institution etc) and upload scanned image of the same before submitting application. Candidates should produce the certificate before the Commission as and when asked for the same. Probation: Every person appointed to this post shall, from the date on which joins duty, be on probation for a total period of two years of duty within a continuous period of three years. Special Instructions to candidates: Appropriate disciplinary action as per Rules of Procedure Rule 22 of the Kerala Public Service Commission Rules of Procedure shall be initiated against those candidates who submit applications with bogus claims of qualification regarding education, experience etc. and are liable to be disqualified for being considered for a particular post or debarment from applying to the Commission either permanently or for any period or the invalidation of their answer script or products in a Written/Practical test or the intimation of criminal or other proceedings against them or their removal or dismissal from office or the ordering of any other disciplinary action them if they have already been appointed, or any one or more of the above.
