Age Limit
18-36, Only candidates born between 02.01.1988 and 01.01.2006 (both dates included) are eligible to apply for this post. Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and other Backward Communities are eligible for usual age relaxation.(Provided that persons in Kerala Architectural State Service and the Kerala Architectural Subordinate Service who possess necessary qualifications shall be exempted from the upper age limit). Note : For concessions allowed in upper age limit, subject to the condition that the maximum age limit shall in no case exceed 50 years, please see para (2) of the General Conditions under Part II of Gazette Notification.
Qualifications
1) Bachelors Degree in Architecture from a recognized University OR Associate Membership of Indian Institute of Architects (AIIA), Bombay AND 2) Must possess a valid current Certificate of Registration with the council of Architecture, New Delhi set up under the Architects Act 1972 (Central Act 20 of 1972 ) by the Government of India (G.O.(P)No.21/2016/PWD dtd 18/05/2016 (SRO No.395/2016)
Notes
Note: As per GO(P) No.5/2024/SJD dated 07/02/2024 4% of the vacancies reported to the commission for the above post are reserved for Differently Abled Candidates. Note :- 1 Rule 10 a (ii) of part II of KS&SSR is applicable. 2 In addition to the qualifications prescribed in the notification, the qualifications recognized by executive orders, or standing orders of Government as equivalent to the qualifications specified for the post, and such of those qualifications which pre-suppose the acquisition of the lower qualification prescribed for the post, shall also be sufficient for the post. The copy of the Government orders declaring equivalent/higher qualifications shall be produced as and when required by the Commision.
