18-41 Only candidates born between 02.01.1984 and 01.01.2007 (both dates included) are eligible to apply for the post (including the age relaxation in para 2(i) of the General Conditions) Note: For other conditions regarding age relaxation please see para (2) of the General Conditions except Para 2(i).

1. Certificate in Architectural Draftsmanship awarded by the Industrial Training Centres of the Government of Kerala. (Two year course with training) OR National Trade Certificate in Architectural Draftsmanship with training awarded by the National Council for Vocational training (NCVT) New Delhi or its equivalent qualification. 2. One year computer aided building drafting experience under a Registered Architect or any Registered Civil Engineering Firm. 3. Proficiency in Computer drafting in Auto CAD level 1 & 2 or in any similar Architectural CAD software notified as equivalent by the Government of Kerala from time to time.

Note : Proficiency in Computer drafting shall be proved by conducting a Practical Test by the Public Service Commission at the time of selection. Note 1. Rule 10 a (ii) of part II of KS&SSR is applicable. 2. Candidates who claim equivalent qualification instead of qualification mentioned in the notification shall produce the relevant Government Order to prove the equivalency at the time of verification, then only such qualification shall be treated as equivalent to the prescribed qualification concerned. 3. In the case of difference in original caste/ community claimed in the application and that entered in SSLC book, the candidate shall produce a Gazette notification in this regard, along with Community Certificate at the time of certificate verification. 4. Candidates should obtain Experience Certificate in the following format and should enter details in their profile regarding experience (Certificate Number, Date, Name of post, Period, Issuing Authority, Name of Institution etc) and upload scanned image of the same before submitting application. Candidates should produce the certificate before the Commission as and when asked for the same. NB: The veracity of the experience certificate will be subjected to scrutiny and legal actions will be initiated against those issue or produce bogus certificate. 8. Probation : Every person appointed to this post shall, from the date on which joins duty, be on probation for a total period of two years of duty within a continuous period of three years.
