Direct Recruitment (From candidates belonging to SCCC community only).
Age Limit
18-40; Candidates must be born between 02.01.1981 and 01.01.2003 (both dates included). Note 1: Candidates converted to Christianity from Scheduled Caste and their children are eligible for upper age relaxation up to 42 years (born between 02.01.1979 and 01.01.2003). Note 2: Village Extension Officers selected for B.Sc. Agriculture degree course at Kerala Agricultural University and who have obtained the degree are eligible for upper age relaxation up to 45 years for direct recruitment to the post of Krishi Officer.
Qualifications
B.Sc. Degree in Agriculture or Horticulture from Kerala Agricultural University or any other university recognized by the Indian Council of Agricultural Research. Note: 1) KS & SSR Part II Rule 10 (a) ii is applicable. 2) Candidates who have obtained a Post Graduate degree in these subjects without a basic degree in Agriculture or Horticulture are not eligible to apply for this post. 3) Degrees obtained from colleges/universities must be after a 10+2+4 course of study as prescribed by the Indian Council of Agricultural Research. 4) Candidates claiming equivalent qualifications must produce the government order proving the equivalency at the time of certificate verification. 5) Candidates claiming a specific caste/community in the application must produce a non-creamy layer/caste certificate along with a gazette notification regarding any change in caste name at the time of certificate verification if it differs from the SSLC book.
Notes
The rank list prepared in pursuance of this notification shall remain in force until candidates are advised and advised against all the vacancies earmarked for the SCCC community that remain unfilled due to the paucity of candidates during the currency of the mother rank list published on 24.07.2017 (Category No. 271/2014, Gazette Date 13.06.2014) or for a period of three years from the date of publication of this NCA rank list, whichever is earlier. Applications from candidates not belonging to the specified community will be summarily rejected. Candidates must register via www.keralapsc.gov.in. Uploaded photo must be taken after 31.12.2011 with name and date clearly marked. No application fee. Candidates must keep a printout of the application. Candidates must provide confirmation for OMR/Online exams through their profile. Aadhaar card is mandatory for identification in the profile. Any false claims regarding qualifications will lead to disciplinary action under KPSC Rules of Procedure, Rule 22.
