Direct Recruitment. (Special Recruitment from among Scheduled Tribes only) Note : Applications received from candidates other than Scheduled Tribes will be rejected. Individual communications regarding the rejection of their applications for the above reason will not be issued.

19-41; Only Candidates born between 02.01.1984 and 01.01.2006 (both dates included) are eligible to apply for this post. Note :- In the absence of qualified candidates within the age limit the upper age limit shall be relaxed up to 50 years. But in no case the maximum age limit shall exceed 50 (fifty) years.

(1) Diploma in Agricultural and Rural Engineering awarded by the Kerala Agricultural University. (2) In the absence of persons with the qualifications prescribed under item 1 mentioned above the persons with the following qualifications will be considered. i) National Trade Certificate in any of the following trades from the I.T.I (a) Mechanic (Tractor) (b) Mechanic (Motor Vehicle) (c) Mechanic (Diesel) (d) Fitter ii) Practical Experience of not less than one year in the trade. The Practical experience should be one acquired after the acquisition of I.T.I Trade Certificate. Proficiency in the field of work will be assessed in a practical test conducted by the Public Service Commission. (3) The candidates should possess a valid Tractor Driving License. Note: Candidate shall possess a current Driving License throughout all the stages of selection process as on the last date of application, OMR Test, Practical Test, Interview etc. Note: Rule 10(a)(ii) of Part II of KS & SSR is applicable.

i) A Ranked List will be prepared for Kannur district in pursuance of this notification. The Ranked List thus prepared and published by the Commission in response to this notification shall remain in force for a minimum period of one year provided that the said list will continue to be in force till the publication of a new list after the expiry of the minimum period of one year or till the expiry of three years whichever is earlier. Recruitment will be made for the above vacancy and also for the vacancies reported for Special Recruitment for Scheduled Tribes during the currency of the said list. ii) The selection in pursuance of this notification will be made on a revenue district basis, subject to the special conditions laid down in G.O (Ms) No. 154/71/PD dated, 27.05.1971. A candidate advised for appointment in one revenue district from the Ranked List so prepared is not eligible for transfer to another district unless he/she completes five years continuous service from the date of commencement of service in the former district. Even if, transfer is allowed after five years, it will be subject to the orders contained in G.O (MS) No. 4/61/PD, dated 02.01.1961. Candidates already in Government service, holding the post in any one district are restricted from applying for the same post in another district. But they can apply for higher posts when notified.
