Direct Recruitment (Special Recruitment from among Scheduled Tribes only).

19-41. Candidates must be born between 02.01.1981 and 01.01.2003 (both dates included). In the absence of qualified candidates within the specified age limit, relaxation up to 50 years will be allowed, but in no case shall it exceed 50 years.

(1) Diploma in Agricultural and Rural Engineering from Kerala Agricultural University. (2) In the absence of the above qualification, the following qualifications will be considered: (I) National Trade Certificate in any of the following trades from an Industrial Training Institute (ITI): (a) Mechanic (Tractor) (b) Mechanic (Motor Vehicle) (c) Mechanic (Diesel) (d) Fitter (II) Practical experience of not less than one year in the relevant trade. This must be obtained after acquiring the ITI Trade Certificate. The Kerala Public Service Commission will conduct a practical test to determine the expertise of candidates in this job. (3) Candidates must possess a valid Tractor Driving License.

Notes: (i) The vacancy is currently existing. The Ranked List prepared in pursuance of this notification shall remain in force for a minimum period of one year and a maximum period of three years. If a new Ranked List is published for the same post in the same district after one year, the current list will cease to be in force. Appointments will be made from this list to the vacancies shown above and to any additional vacancies reported for Scheduled Tribes during the validity of the list. (ii) Selection will be made on a district-wise basis as per G.O (M.S) 154/71/PD dated 27.05.1971. A person appointed to a post in a district cannot be transferred to another district for five years from the date of commencement of service. Transfers after five years will be subject to the conditions in G.O (M.S) 4/61/PD dated 02.01.1961. Candidates currently working in this department in any district are not eligible to apply, but may apply for higher posts when notified. (iii) In case of any discrepancy in the caste entry in the SSLC book, candidates must claim the correct caste in the application and produce the caste certificate from the concerned Revenue Authority and the relevant Gazette notification at the time of verification. (iv) Applications from candidates not belonging to Scheduled Tribes will be rejected without separate notice. (v) KS & SSR Part II Rule 10 (a) (ii) is applicable. (vi) Candidates must possess a valid Tractor Driving License on the last date of application and at all stages of selection including OMR/Online test, practical test, and interview. (vii) Candidates must produce a medical certificate regarding physical fitness and a vision certificate from a Government Ophthalmologist in the prescribed format when required by the Commission. (viii) Candidates must submit their Aadhaar card as identity proof in their profile.
