Scheduled Tribe – 17 (Seventeen - NCA Vacancies)

Direct Recruitment (From candidates belonging to Scheduled Tribe community only).

18-42; Candidates born between 02.01.1980 and 01.01.2004 (both dates included) are eligible to apply. Note: For Village Extension Officers selected for B.Sc Agriculture degree study by Kerala Agricultural University, the upper age limit is relaxed up to 45 years.

B.Sc Degree in Agriculture or Horticulture from Kerala Agricultural University or any other University recognized by the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR). Notes: 1) KS & SSR Part II Rule 10 (a) ii is applicable. 2) Candidates who have obtained Post Graduate Degree in Agriculture or Horticulture without basic degree in the same subjects are not eligible to apply. 3) Degrees obtained from Colleges/Universities should be after a 10+2+4 pattern of study as prescribed by the Indian Council of Agricultural Research. 4) Candidates claiming equivalent qualification should produce Government orders proving the equivalency at the time of certificate verification. 5) Candidates should claim the correct caste/community in the application and if it differs from the SSLC book, they must produce a Gazette notification regarding the change of name/caste along with the Non-Creamy Layer/Caste certificate at the time of certificate verification.

1) The vacancies are currently existing. The Ranked List prepared in pursuance of this notification shall remain in force until candidates are advised and appointed against the vacancies earmarked for the above community, but remain unfilled due to the paucity of candidates during the currency of the Ranked List published on 24.07.2017 (Category No. 271/2014, Gazette date 13.06.2014). This is the second NCA notification issued as no qualified candidates were available for the first NCA notification (Category No. 353/2019) published in the Gazette dated 11.12.2019. 2) Applications submitted by candidates not belonging to the notified reservation community will be rejected summarily without any notice. 3) Candidates must submit confirmation through their One Time Registration profile if a written/OMR/online test is conducted. Only those who submit confirmation will be able to download the admission ticket in the last 15 days before the exam date. 4) Candidates who have submitted false claims regarding education, experience, etc., and fail to appear for the exam after confirming will be subject to disciplinary action as per KPSC Rules of Procedure, Rule 22. 5) Candidates having Aadhar card should provide it as an identity document in their profile. 6) For photo, ID card instructions, and general conditions, refer to Part 2 of the Gazette notification.
