18-31. Candidates should be born between 02/01/1992 and 01/01/2005 (both dates included).

(a) Educational Qualification: Pass in Higher Secondary Examination (Plus Two) or its equivalent. Note: Candidates with higher qualifications than Higher Secondary/Plus Two are also eligible to apply. KS & SSR Part II Rule 10 (a) (ii) is applicable for this selection. (b) Physical Qualifications: (i) Height: Minimum 150 cm. (ii) Vision: Must be certified to have the following vision standards: Right Eye: Distant Vision 6/6 Snellen, Near Vision 0.5 Snellen Left Eye: Distant Vision 6/6 Snellen, Near Vision 0.5 Snellen Note: Each eye must have full vision. Colour blindness, squint or any morbid condition of the eyes or lids of either eye shall be a disqualification. Must be free from physical defects like knock knee, flat foot, varicose vein, bow legs, deformed hands and limbs, irregular and protruding teeth, defective speech and hearing. Candidates must also qualify in at least 5 out of the 8 items of the National Physical Efficiency Test.

1. The rank list prepared will be valid for one year from the date of publication. Further vacancies reported exclusively for SC candidates during the validity of the list will be filled from this list. 2. Male candidates and differently-abled candidates are not eligible to apply. 3. Training: Selected candidates will have to undergo training for 9 months at the Police Training College or any other institution decided by the State Government/State Police Chief. 4. Probation: Candidates appointed by direct recruitment will be on probation for a period of two years on duty within a continuous period of three years. 5. Candidates must produce a medical certificate in the prescribed format from a Medical Officer not below the rank of Assistant Surgeon/Junior Consultant at the time of the physical efficiency test. 6. Candidates must upload a photograph taken within 6 months of the date of application. The name of the candidate and the date of the photograph must be clearly marked on the photograph. The photograph is valid for 10 years. 7. Aadhaar card should be provided as identity proof in the profile.
