18 – 36. Candidates should be born between 02.01.1985 and 01.01.2003 (both dates included). Usual age relaxation is allowed for SC/ST/Other Backward Communities/Widows.

Diploma in Civil Engineering after a three-year course of study recognized by the Government of Kerala or equivalent qualification.

(i) The Ranked list prepared in pursuance of this notification shall remain in force for a minimum period of one year and a maximum period of three years. If a new ranked list is published after one year, the old list will cease to be in force. Appointments will be made from the ranked list and from the vacancies reported during the pendency of the list. (ii) The Kerala Public Service Commission reserves the right to cancel any advice for appointment if it is found to be incorrect later. The appointing authority shall terminate the service of the candidate if the advice is cancelled. However, such termination shall be within the probation period or within 240 days of joining duty, whichever is earlier. (iii) As per G.O.(P) No.01/2013/SJD dated 03.01.2013, 3% of vacancies are reserved for differently abled candidates (Locomotor disability/Cerebral palsy, Hearing impairment). (iv) Temporary employees in the institution are eligible for age relaxation equivalent to their service length, provided the upper age limit does not exceed 50 years. They must obtain a certificate from the institution showing the length of service and produce it when required by the Commission. They must specifically state in the certificate that they have worked in a regular post. (v) K.S. & S.S.R Part II Rule 10 (a) ii is applicable. (vi) Candidates claiming equivalent qualification must produce the Government Order proving the equivalency at the time of verification. (vii) In case of any discrepancy in the caste recorded in the SSLC book, candidates must produce the caste certificate/non-creamy layer certificate issued by the concerned Revenue Authority and the relevant Gazette notification at the time of verification. (viii) Candidates must apply online through the official website www.keralapsc.gov.in after One Time Registration. (ix) Candidates must upload a photo taken after 31/12/2011 with their name and date of photo taken clearly marked at the bottom. (x) No application fee. (xi) Candidates must keep a soft copy/print out of the online application for future use. (xii) If a written/OMR/online test is conducted, candidates must submit confirmation through their profile to get the admission ticket. Failure to submit confirmation will lead to rejection of the application. (xiii) Disciplinary action will be taken against candidates who make false claims regarding qualifications or experience as per Rule 22 of KPSC Rules of Procedure 1976.
