Method of appointment
Direct Recruitment (From candidates belonging to Ezhava /Thiyya/Billava,ST, Muslim ,LC/AI , OBC,Viswakarma, SIUCN,SCCC, Dheevara & Hindu Nadar Communities of Kerala State only).
Age Limit
18-39 . Only Candidates born between 02.01.1981and 01.01.2002 (both dates included) are only eligible to apply for this post in the case of Ezhava/Thiyya/Billava,Muslim,LC/AI, OBC, Viswakarma, SIUCN,SCCC,Dheevara and Hindu Nadar Communities.
(Including the relaxation as per para 2 (i) of the General Conditions).
18-41. Only Candidates born between 02.01.1979 and 01.01.2002 (both dates included) are only eligible to apply for this post in the case of ST Candidates and candidates who have converted to Christianity from SC communities after attaining the age of 18 years and children of such parents.
(Including the relaxation as per para 2 (i) of the General Conditions).
Note :- For concessions allowed in upper age limit, subject to the condition that the maximum age limit shall in no case exceed 50 years, please see para (2) of the General Conditions under Part II of this Notification (except para 2(i)).
Qualifications
(i) General:
Pass in Plus 2 with Science subjects or its equivalent examination from recognized institutions.
(ii) Technical:
Diploma in Health Inspector course conducted by Director of Health Services or by any other institution recognized by Government of Kerala.
(iii) Registration:
Registration with Kerala Paramedical Council
In the absence of candidates with above qualifications, candidates with Diploma in Health Inspector Course (DHIC) conducted by Director of Health Services will be considered for appointment.
Note:- (i) KS&SSR Part II Rule 10 (a) (ii) is applicable for selection to this post.
(ii) Candidates claiming equivalent qualification should produce relevant Government orders during verification to prove that the qualification claimed is equivalent to the prescribed qualification for the post.
Notes
(i) Separate Ranked Lists will be prepared for the above Districts in pursuance of this notification. Ranked List thus prepared and published by the Commission shall remain in force until candidates are advised and appointed against the vacancies earmarked for the above communities, but remain unfilled due to paucity of candidates during the currency of the Ranked List published for the post in the above districts or for three years from the date of publication of the NCA Ranked List whichever is earlier.
(ii) The Candidates belonging to the above reservation communities shall submit application for the post to any one of the above Districts where the vacancy is existing and note the name of that district against the relevant column in the online application. Applications should not be submitted to more than one District in response to this notification. If applications are submitted contrary to above direction and if he/she is selected, his/her name will be removed from the Ranked List and disciplinary action will be taken against him/her.
(iii) The selection in pursuance of this notification will be made on a Revenue District basis, subject to the special conditions laid down in G.O (MS) No. 154/71/PD dated 27.05.1971. A candidate advised for appointment in one Revenue District from the Ranked List prepared is not eligible for transfer to another district unless he/she completes five years continuous service from the date of commencement of service in the former district. Even if transfer is allowed after five years, it will be subject to the rules in G.O (MS) No.4/61/PD, dated 2.1.1961. Candidates already in Government Service holding the same post in any one district are prohibited from applying again for this post, but they can apply to higher posts when notified.
(iv) In case of change in caste/community noted in the SSLC Book, candidate must claim their original caste/community in the application and shall produce Non Creamy Layer Certificate issued by the Revenue Authorities/Community Certificate issued by the Tahsildar and the gazette notification publishing the change of caste/community at the time of OTR verification for selection to the above post.
Note: Applications submitted by candidates belonging to the communities other than those belonging to the Ezhava/Thiyya/Billava,ST,Muslim,LC/AI, OBC, Viswakarma, SIUCN,SCCC,Dheevara and Hindu Nadar Communities will be summarily rejected. No rejection memo will be issued to these candidates.
