1) Pass in SSLC examination conducted by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala or its equivalent. 2) Needle Work and Dress Making Group Certificate of K.G.T.E (Higher) or M.G.T.E (Higher). OR Tailoring Group Certificate of K.G.T.E (Higher) or M.G.T.E (Higher). OR Group Diploma in Craft conducted by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala. OR National Trade Certificate in Cutting and Tailoring from the National Council for Vocational Training, Government of India (G.O.(P) No. 106/82/Gen.Edn. dated 29.07.1982). OR Diploma in Craftsmanship in Tailoring and Garment Making from the Department of Technical Education, Kerala. OR Diploma in Craftsmanship in Tailoring and Embroidery from the Department of Technical Education, Kerala (G.O.(P) No. 157/89/Gen.Edn. dated 24.08.1989). OR National Trade Certificate in Dress Making from the National Council for Vocational Training (G.O.(P) No. 501/97/Gen.Edn. dated 18.12.1997). OR Degree in Fashion Technology (B.F.T) from Mahatma Gandhi University (G.O.(Rt) No. 40/2018/Gen.Edn. dated 12.04.2018). OR B.Sc Degree in Fashion and Apparel Designing (B.Sc F.A.T.D) from Kannur University (G.O.(Rt) No. 40/2018/Gen.Edn. dated 12.04.2018). OR B.Sc Degree in Costume and Fashion Designing from Calicut University (G.O.(Rt) No. 40/2018/Gen.Edn. dated 12.04.2018). OR Diploma in Fashion Designing from Kerala Institute of Labour and Employment (G.O.(Rt) No. 74/2018/Gen.Edn. dated 29.05.2018). OR Diploma in Fashion Designing from Indira Gandhi National Open University (G.O.(Rt) No. 114/2019/Gen.Edn. dated 06.08.2019). 3) Must have passed the Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test (K-TET IV) for this post conducted by the Government of Kerala.

Candidates must register as per 'ONE TIME REGISTRATION' system on the official website of Kerala Public Service Commission (www.keralapsc.gov.in). Applications submitted online only will be accepted. Candidates must upload a photo taken after 31.12.2013. The name of the candidate and the date of taking the photograph should be printed at the bottom of the photograph. The photograph will be valid for 10 years from the date of taking. No application fee. Candidates must keep a soft copy/print out of the application for future reference. Candidates must produce the print out of the application if required by the Commission. 4% of vacancies are reserved for differently abled candidates as per G.O.(P) No. 7/2022/SJD dated 28.10.2022. KS & SSR Part II Rule 10 a(ii) is applicable. Confirmation for the examination is mandatory.
