18-36. Only candidates born between 02.01.1988 and 01.01.2006 (both dates included) are eligible to apply for this post. Other Backward Communities and SC/ST candidates are eligible for usual age relaxation. Note : The provisional hands working in the Kerala Financial Corporation will be given age relaxation to the extent of their provisional service put in subject to a maximum of five years from the upper age limit provided they were within the prescribed age limit on the date of their first appointment in the above concern. But the regular employees of the concern are not eligible for the above concession for further appointment. The provisional hands should obtain a certificate showing the period of their provisional service in the concern and shall produce the same as and when required by the Commission. It would also be clearly specified in the certificate that they were not working in the regular service of the concern. B.Com from a recognized university with 60% or above marks in aggregate. Note:- (1) Rule 10(a)ii of Part II of KS&SSR is applicable. (2) The Degrees /Diplomas awarded by UGC approved Universities or Institutions established through an act passed by Parliament/ State Legislative Assembly in accordance with the conditions laid down in G.O(Ms.) No.526/PD dated 17.07.1965 are acceptable for appointment in Government Services. (Link) https://www.keralapsc.gov.in/sites/default/files/inline-files/circular_12_18_1.pdf (3) In addition to the qualification prescribed in this notification, the qualification recognized by Executive Orders or Standing Orders of Government as equivalent to a qualification specified for a post, in the Special Rules and such of those qualification which pre–suppose the acquisition of the lower qualification prescribed for the post, shall also be sufficient for the post. The copy of the Government orders declaring equivalent / higher qualifications shall be produced as and when required by the Commission.

(i) 01 (One) vacancy of the above post is set apart, owing to the absence of Differently Abled (DA) candidates belonging to Hearing Impairment category and as per PWD Act 2016, for advising candidates belonging to the same DA candidates, in their absence from other DA Category and in their absence from General Category, from the ranked list to be published in response to this notification. (ii) The Ranked list of selected candidates published by the Commission in response to this notification shall remain in force for a minimum period of one year and a maximum period of three years, provided that the said list will continue to be in force till the publication of a new list after the expiry of the minimum period of one year or till the expiry of three years whichever is earlier. Candidates will be advised from the said list against the vacancies noted above and that may be reported to the Commission in writing during the period of currency of the list. (iii) The Kerala Public Service Commission shall have the power to cancel the advice for appointment of any candidate to the above post, if it is subsequently found that such advice was made under some mistake. On such cancellation, the appointing authority shall terminate the service of the candidate, provided that, the cancellation of advice for appointment by the Commission and subsequent termination of service of the candidate by the appointing authority shall be made within the period of probation or 240 days from the date of joining duty whichever is earlier. (iv) 4% vacancies of the total vacancies reported shall be reserved for eligible Differently Abled candidates with disabilities as specified vide G.O.(P) No.5/2023/SJD dated 01.10.2023. (Link) Present Order for Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016 Section 34 Probation: The Probation period is applicable as per the provisions of the Special Rules of the Kerala Financial Corporation. 10. a) Sub Paras (v), (viii), (ix), (x), (xi), (xiii) and (xiv) of Paragraph 2 of the General Conditions are not applicable to this post. b) Extra marks will be awarded to meritorious Sports persons as per para 6 of the General Conditions. c) The appointment in the Kerala Financial Corporation will be subject to the rules and regulations made by them from time to time. 13. Special Instructions for Candidates a) In the case of difference in Caste / Community claimed in the application and that entered in SSLC book, the candidate shall produce a Gazette notification in this regard, along with Non-creamy layer certificate / Community certificate at the time of certificate verification. b) Candidates are required to acquaint themselves with the instruction given in the notification as part II, General conditions before submitting application for the post. Applications which are not submitted in accordance with the terms and conditions laid down in the General conditions are liable to be rejected. c) Appropriate disciplinary action as per Rule 22 of the Kerala Public Service Commission Rules of Procedure shall be initiated against those candidates who submit applications with bogus claims of qualification regarding education, experience etc. and are liable to be disqualified for being considered for a particular post or debarment from applying to the Commission either permanently or for any period or the invalidation of their answer scripts or products in a written / practical test or the initiation of criminal or other proceedings against them or their removal or dismissal from Office or the ordering of any other disciplinary action against them, if they have already been appointed, or any one or more of the above.
