Method of appointment
Direct Recruitment (From candidates belonging to the Converts to Christianity from Scheduled Castes community of Kerala State only). Note: Applications submitted by candidates not belonging to this category will be rejected without any notice.
Age Limit
1. For Indian Systems of Medicine / Insurance Medical Services: 18-39; Candidates born between 02.01.1982 and 01.01.2003 (both dates included) are eligible to apply. Candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes converted to Christianity are eligible for relaxation up to 41 years (born between 02.01.1980 and 01.01.2003). 2. For Ayurveda Colleges: 19-39; Candidates born between 02.01.1982 and 01.01.2002 (both dates included) are eligible to apply. Candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes converted to Christianity are eligible for relaxation up to 41 years (born between 02.01.1980 and 01.01.2002). Note: The upper age limit shall in no case exceed 50 years.
Qualifications
1. For Indian Systems of Medicine / Ayurveda Colleges: i) Must have passed SSLC or equivalent qualification. ii) Must possess a Diploma/Certificate in Ayurveda Pharmacist Course recognized by the Government of Kerala. 2. For Insurance Medical Services: Must possess a Government recognized Ayurveda Pharmacist Course Certificate.
Notes
1. KS&SSR Part II Rule 10 (a) (ii) is applicable for this selection. 2. Candidates claiming equivalent qualification should produce the Government Order proving the equivalency at the time of OTR verification. 3. Candidates belonging to the reservation community should apply to only one district and specify the district name in the application. 4. This is the third NCA notification as no qualified candidates were available from the previous notifications (Cat No. 188/2018 and 377/2019). 5. Discrepancies in caste/community records in SSLC book must be supported by Non-Creamy Layer Certificate and Gazette notification at the time of verification. 6. Selection is district-wise as per GO (MS) No. 154/71/PD dated 27.05.1971. Inter-district transfer is not allowed for 5 years. 7. Candidates already in government service in the same department in any district are not eligible to apply. 8. Candidates must confirm their participation for the written/OMR/online test through their OTR profile. 9. Candidates must provide Aadhaar card as identity proof in their profile.
