Scheduled Caste Converts to Christianity (SCCC) - 01 (One)

Direct recruitment (from candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste Converts to Christianity (SCCC) only.

18 – 29. Only candidates born between 02.01.1996 and 01.01.2007 (both dates included) are eligible to apply for this post. In the case of adult members of SC and their children converted to Christian religion the upper age limit shall be 31 years ie. candidates born between 02.01.1994 & 01.01.2007 (Including age relaxation as per para 2(1) of the general conditions).

1. Educational Qualifications: Must have passed Plus Two or its equivalent Examination. Preferential: Diploma in Computer Application. 2. Physical Qualifications: The Candidates must be physically fit and should possess the following minimum physical standards as prescribed below: (a) Height(Without Footwear) 165 cms (b) Weight 50 Kgs (c) Chest 81 cms (d) Chest Expansion 5 cms. 3. Must have proficiency in swimming: (i) 50m swimming trial to be completed within two minutes. (ii) Two minute floating ability at the deeper sides of the swimming pool. Candidate must qualify both the events to be considered as qualified in the swimming test. 4. Visual Standards: Must possess the Visual Standards specified below without glasses. (a) Distant vision 6/6 Snellen (b) Near vision 0.5 Snellen (c) Field of Vision Full.

Note i. Applications submitted by candidates belonging to the communities other than Scheduled Caste converts to Christianity (SCCC) communities will be summarily rejected. Note ii. Differently Abled and female candidates are not eligible to apply for this post. Note iii. The Ranked list published as per this notification shall remain in force until candidates are advised and appointed against the vacancies earmarked for the above community. Note iv. In the case of difference in original caste/community claimed in the applications and that entered in SSLC book, the candidate shall produce a gazette notification in this regard along with Non creamy layer certificate/caste certificate. Note vi. NCC Cadets having 'A', 'B' & 'C' Certificates will be given weightage marks at the rate of 2%, 3% and 5% respectively. Note vii. Extra marks will be awarded to meritorious sports persons. Note viii. Students Police Cadet (SPC) certificate holders will be given weightage marks. Preferential: Home Guard Volunteers who have completed a tenure of three years and who have satisfactorily undergone training in Fire Fighting shall be treated as having preferential qualification. Probation: Every Person appointed to the post shall be on probation for a period of two years on duty within a continuous period of three years. Training: Training for a period of 6 months in the State Fire Service Training School followed by six months practical training at a Fire station. Bond: A Person appointed by direct recruitment shall execute a bond, binding himself to serve in the department for a period of 7 years and to pay to Government an amount of Rs 50,000 in case of failure to serve.
