District-wise: Scheduled Caste - Kannur - 2 (Two)

Direct Recruitment (From candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste community only).

18-45. Candidates born between 02.01.1976 and 01.01.2003 (both dates included) are eligible to apply. [Including para 2(i) of General Conditions]. Note: The upper age limit shall in no case exceed 50 years, subject to the relaxation allowed in Part II, Para 2 of the General Conditions (excluding para 2(i)).

1) A Degree in the concerned subject and B.Ed/B.T in the concerned subject conferred or recognized by the Universities in Kerala. (See note (ii) for concerned subjects). 2) Must have passed the Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test (K-TET) for this post conducted by the Government of Kerala. Exemption: Candidates who have acquired CTET/NET/SET/M.Phil/Ph.D/M.Ed in any subject are exempted from the K-TET qualification. Notes: (i) Candidates must submit applications online through the Commission's website www.keralapsc.gov.in after One Time Registration. Applications submitted otherwise will be summarily rejected. (ii) Applications submitted by candidates not belonging to the reservation community included in this notification will be rejected without any notice. No rejection memo will be sent to such candidates. (iii) A rank list will be prepared for Kannur district. The rank list will be valid until candidates are advised and appointed against the vacancies earmarked for the said community during the currency of the rank list published on 25.09.2018 (Cat No. 660/12) or for three years from the date of publication of the new rank list, whichever is earlier. (iv) Candidates belonging to the Scheduled Caste community applying for this post must register only for Kannur district and must specify the district name in the designated column of the online application. (v) Selection is district-wise as per G.O.(MS) 154/71/PD dated 27.05.1971. Candidates appointed cannot be transferred to another district for five years from the date of commencement of service. (vi) In case of discrepancy in caste/community in SSLC book, a caste certificate/non-creamy layer certificate from the Revenue Authority must be produced along with the Gazette notification at the time of verification. (vii) KS&SSR Part II Rule 10(a) ii is applicable for this post. (viii) Candidates must specify the optional subjects studied for Degree/Post-Graduation and the subject in which B.Ed/B.T was obtained in the application. (ix) If a written/OMR/online test is conducted, the question paper will be in Malayalam. Answers must be written in Malayalam. (x) Candidates claiming equivalent qualification must produce the Government Order proving equivalency at the time of verification.
