18–39. Candidates born between 02.01.1986 and 01.01.2007 are eligible to apply for this post (both dates included). (Including age relaxation in Para 2(i) of the Part II of General conditions) (For other conditions regarding age relaxation, please see para (2) of the General conditions, except Para2(i), under Part II of this notification.)

(a)Educational Qualifications: Pass in SSLC or its equivalent qualification Note :- 1) Rule 10(a)(ii) of Part II of the KS & SSR is applicable 2) In addition to the qualification prescribed in the notification the qualifications recognized by Executive orders or standing orders of Government as equivalent to a qualification specified for a post and such of those qualifications which pre suppose the acquisition of the lower qualifications prescribed for the post shall also be sufficient for the post. The Government orders declaring equivalent/ higher qualification shall be produced as and when called for by the commission. (b) Physical Qualifications: (i)Must have at least 150 cm height. (ii) Eye sight: Must be certified to possess the visual standards specified below without glasses. Vision Right Eye Left Eye (a) Distant Vision 6/6 Snellen 6/6 Snellen (b) Near Vision 0.5 Snellen 0.5 Snellen (c) Each eye must have a full field of vision. Colour blindness, squint or any morbid conditions of the eye or lids of either eye will be deemed to be a disqualification. (iii) Must be free from apparent physical defects like knock knee, flat foot, varicose veins, bow legs, deformed limbs, irregular and protruding teeth, defective speech and hearing. (iv) Must qualify in any five events out of the eight events of the National Physical Efficiency One Star Standard Test, as specified below. Sl. Note:-(i) Differently abled candidates and male candidates are not eligible to apply for the post. (ii) Applications submitted by candidates belonging to the communities other than notified will be summarily rejected. No rejection memo will be issued. (iii) The above vacancy is now in existence. The Ranked list published as per this notification shall remain in force until candidates are advised and appointed against the vacancy earmarked for the above community, but remain unfilled due to paucity of candidates during the currency of Mother Ranked List published for the post. This is the first NCA notification due to the non availability of qualified candidates in the above mentioned community from the mother ranked lists published for the post. The details of above ranked list are as follows. (P)No.266/2010/Home dated 09.12.2010 and G.O.(P)No.337/2012/Home dated 28.12.2012 (v) (a) Every person appointed to the post shall, from the date on which she joins duty be on probation for a total period of two years on duty within a continuous period of three years. (b)They shall undergo in-service training within the period of probation as prescribed by the Head of Department. (c)They shall pass Kerala Jail subordinate officers test within the period of probation unless they have already passed the test. (d) Statewide Seniority will be maintained on the warder establishment for the purpose of promotion to other categories. I) The Physical measurement of candidates will be taken at the time of physical efficiency test and those who do not possess the prescribed physical measurement will not be admitted for the physical efficiency test. If accidents or injuries happened to a candidate while participating in the Physical Efficiency Test, she will not be given further chance to participate in the test. The candidates should produce at the time of Physical Efficiency Test, a Medical Certificate in original in the form prescribed hereunder certifying to their physical fitness and eye sight without glasses. The Medical Certificate should be one obtained from a Medical Officer under the Government not below the rank of an Assistant Surgeon/Junior Consultant and the same shall be uploaded in the OTR Profile by the candidate at the time of Certificate Verification. II) The tentative schedule for Physical measurement and Physical Efficiency test will be published in the website. 1. NCC Cadets having 'A”, 'B' & 'C' Certificates will be given weightage marks at the rate of 2%, 3% and 5% respectively as per GO(Ms)No.112/2007/H.Edn, dated 21.08.2007. 2. Extra marks will be awarded to meritorious sports persons as per para 6 of the General Conditions. 3. Students Police Cadet (SPC) certificate holders will be given weightage marks as per GO(Ms)No.06/2025/P&ARD dated 01.03.2025
