Direct Recruitment (From candidates belonging to SCCC Only). Note:- Applications of candidates belonging to communities other than the above will be summarily rejected. Individual rejection memo will not be sent to them.

18-39. Only candidates born between 02.01.1982 and 01.01.2003 (both dates included) are eligible to apply for this post. (including Para 2(i) of the General conditions.) (For other conditions regarding the age relaxation, please see Para 2 of the General Conditions). Note: The provisional hands working in the above concern will be given age relaxation to the extent of their provisional service put in subject to a maximum of five years from the upper age limit provided they are within the prescribed age limit on the date of their first appointment in the above concern and also provided they possess a minimum service of one year in the provisional appointment. But the regular employees of the concern are not eligible for the above concession for further appointment. The provisional hands should obtain a certificate showing the period of their provisional service in the concern and shall produce the same as and when required by the Commission. It should also be clearly specified in the certificate that they were not working in the regular service of the concern. The over aged candidates who become eligible to be included in the Ranked List on the basis of their provisional service in any Company/Corporation/Board/Authority/Society will be considered only in the vacancies reported by the same concern, in which they have worked provisionally.

1 Literacy in Malayalam, Tamil or Kannada. 2 Must possess a Light Motor Driving License of at least three years standing with endorsement for driving Light Duty Vehicles.(Candidates shall possess a Current Driving Licence and Badge throughout all the stages of selection process as on the last date of applications, OMR test, practical test, interview etc.) 3 Proficiency in driving Light Duty Vehicles (to be proved at practical test). 4 Medical Fitness- (a) Ear : Hearing should be full and perfect. (b) Eye : Right Eye Left Eye Distant Vision : 6/6 Snellen 6/6 Snellen Near Vision : 0.5 Snellen 0.5 Snellen Colour Vision : Normal Night Blindness : Nil Field of Vision : Must have full field of vision. (c) Muscles and Joints - No paralysis and all joints with free movements. (d) Nervous System – Perfectly Normal and free from any infectious diseases. Note :- The Medical Certificate (in original) issued in the prescribed form by a Medical Officer not below the rank of an Assistant Surgeon regarding the physical fitness and a Medical Certificate regarding vision from an Ophthalmologist in Government Service in the prescribed format must be produced as and when called for by the Commission. The prescribed form of medical certificates are given below.

1. The above vacancy is now in existence. The Ranked list published as per this notification will be valid until candidates are advised and appointed against the vacancies earmarked to the above community but remain unfilled due to the paucity of candidates during the currency of the Ranked list published on 11.10.2019 for the post (Gazette Date: 30.08.2016 Category Number: 225/16). 2. Kerala Public Service Commission shall have the power to cancel the advice for appointment of any candidates to the above post of Kerala Municipal Common Service, if it is subsequently found that such advise was made under some mistake. On such cancellation the Appointing Authority shall terminate the service of candidate, provided that, the cancellation of advice for appointment by the Commission and subsequent termination of service of the candidate by the Appointing Authority shall be made within the period of his/ her probation or 240 days from the date of his /her joining duty whichever is earlier. 3. Differently Abled persons are not eligible to apply for this post. 4. Candidates should posses Current Driving Licence and Badge on the last date for receipt of applications in this office and also on the date of OMR test, practical test, interview and at all stages of selection. 5. The proficiency in driving will be assessed by conducting a practical test. 6. Candidates who claim equivalent qualification instead of qualification mentioned in the notification shall produce the relevant Government Order to prove the equivalency at the time of verification, then only such qualification shall be treated as equivalent to the prescribed qualification concerned. 7. In the case of difference in original Caste/Community claimed in the application and that entered in SSLC Book , the candidate shall produce a Gazette Notification in this regard , along with Non Creamy Layer /Community Certificate at the time of certificate verification. 8. Appropriate disciplinary/ penal actions as per Rule 22 of KPSC Rules of Procedure,will be initiated against those candidates who give confirmation for writing the examination by providing false claims about their qualifications/ experience irrespective of whether they have attended or abstained from the examination. 9. No application fee is required. 10. If a Written/OMR/Online Test is conducted as part of this selection, candidate shall submit a confirmation for writing the examination through their One Time Registration Profile.
