By transfer from any other class or category in the general subordinate service or from any other service. Note:-i) Appointment By transfer and by Direct Recruitment shall be made in the ratio of 1:3. In the absence of suitable candidates for appointment by transfer, the vacancy shall be filled up by direct recruitment. ii) Candidates holding low paid posts in Kerala State Sabordinate Service (including Part Time Contingent Subordinate Service) in the scale of pay lower than Rs. 18,000 – 41,500/- can apply for the above post. The applicant should be an approved probationer/full member of the subordinate service.

18-50 ie. Only candidates born between 02.01.1971 and 01.01.2003 (both dates included) only are eligible to apply for this post.

i. A Pass in Standard VII/III Forum. ii. Must possess valid Driving Licence of three years standing to drive light motor vehicle with Drivers Badge. iii. Proficiency in Driving Light Motor Vehicles which is to be proved by a Practical Test (including 'H' Test) conducted by Kerala Public Service Commission during the course of selection. (Only those who have passed 'H' Test are eligible for Road Test) (iv) Medical Fitness:- (a) Ear - Hearing should be perfect. (b) Eye - Distant vision : 6/6 Snellen (Right/Left), Near vision : 0.5 snellen (Right/Left), Colour Vision : Normal, Night blindness : Nil (c) Muscles and joints- No paralysis and all joints must be capable of free movement. (d) Nervous System- Perfectly normal and free from any infectious diseases.

i) Conventional type applications for the above post will be summarily rejected. Candidates shall apply only through online facility available at the Kerala Public Service Commission website viz www.keralapsc.gov.in. ii) Seperate Ranked Lists will be prepared for the above districts in pursuance of this notification. The Ranked lists thus prepared and published by the Commission, shall remain in force for a minimum period of one year and a maximum period of three years provided the said list will not continue to be in force if a new list is published after the expiry of the minimum period of one year. iii) The selection in pursuance of this notification will be made on a Revenue District basis, subject to the special conditions laid down in G.O.(MS) No.154/71/PD dated, 27/05/1971. A candidate advised for appointment in one revenue district from the Ranked List prepared is not eligible for transfer to another district unless he/she completes five years continuous service in the former district, even if transfer is allowed after five years, it will be subject to the rules in G.O.(MS)No.36/91,P&ARD dated 02/12/1991. Candidates already in Government service holding this post in any one district are prohibited from applying again for this post, but they can apply to higher posts when notified. iv) Candidates should submit applications for the post to any one of the above district and should note the name of that district against the relevant column in the online application. Applications should not be submit to more than one district in response to this notification. If applications are submitted contrary to the above direction, any if he/she is selected, his/her name will be removed from the ranked lists and disciplinary action will be taken against him/her. v) Candidates who submit applications for recruitment by transfer should furnish a Service Certificate in original attested from the head of the office at the time of sending application and produced as and when required by the Commission. vi) Differently abled candidates are not eligible to apply for the post. vii) Probation: Every person appointed to the post shall, from the date on which he joins duty be on probation for a total period of 2 years on duty within continuous period of three years.
