Method of appointment
By Transfer. Recruitment from among the qualified Pharmacist/Nurse/Ministerial Subordinate Service staff of the Indian Systems of Medicine Department who have been appointed through the Kerala Public Service Commission [G.O (P) No. 93/2005/H&FWD dated 05.04.2005].
Age Limit
The upper age limit is not applicable to this post.
Qualifications
I) Degree in Ayurveda from any of the Universities in Kerala or recognized as equivalent thereto. II) 'A' Class Registration with the Travancore-Cochin Medical Council. Note: Candidates who have obtained Diploma in Ayurveda while in service as on 05.04.2005 are also eligible to apply for this post.
Notes
1) If qualified candidates are not available through By Transfer, the vacancies will be filled by Direct Recruitment. 2) Blind/Low Vision, Hearing Impaired candidates are not eligible to apply for this post. (G.O (P) No. 61/2012/SWD dated 17.10.2012 and G.O (MS) No. 1/2022/SJD dated 06.01.2022). 3) KS & SSR Part II Rule 10(a)(ii) is applicable. 4) Candidates claiming equivalent qualification should produce the Government Order/Certificate of equivalency from the concerned institution at the time of verification. 5) Reservation rules as per Part II, Rules 14 to 17 of the Kerala State and Subordinate Service Rules are not applicable for By Transfer recruitment. 6) Service Certificate in the prescribed format obtained from the Head of Department must be uploaded at the time of application and the original must be produced at the time of verification.
