18 - 36, candidates must be born between 02.01.1986 and 01.01.2004 (both dates included). Usual age relaxation will be given to SC/ST and other backward communities.

(i) A degree from a UGC recognized university or National Institute established by Central Government or Institution established by Kerala Government or equivalent qualification. (ii) Lower Grade Certificate in English Typewriting (KGTE) and Computer Word Processing or equivalent qualification. (iii) Lower Grade Certificate in Malayalam Typewriting (KGTE) or equivalent qualification. (iv) Lower Grade Certificate in English Shorthand (KGTE) or equivalent qualification. (v) Lower Grade Certificate in Malayalam Shorthand (KGTE) or equivalent qualification. Note: Candidates who have acquired KGTE Typewriting qualification before 2002 must have acquired a separate certificate in Computer Word Processing or equivalent qualification before the date of application or before the last date for receipt of application.

Note: (i) The vacancy mentioned is currently existing. The rank list prepared pursuant to this notification will be valid for a minimum of one year and a maximum of three years. If a new rank list is published for the same post after one year, the rank list prepared under this notification will cease to be valid. Appointments will be made from this list to the vacancies shown above and further vacancies reported during the validity of the list. (ii) Any recommendation for appointment to the post mentioned above, if found to be false later, the Kerala Public Service Commission has the power to cancel it. If the appointment recommendation is cancelled, the appointing authority shall terminate the service of the candidate. However, the cancellation of the appointment recommendation and termination of service must be within the probation period of the candidate or within 240 days of joining duty, whichever is earlier. (iii) 3% of the vacancies of this post are reserved for differently-abled persons (Locomotor Disability/Cerebral Palsy, Hearing Impairment, Low Vision) as per GO(P)No.1/2013/SJD dated 03.01.2013. (iv) Rule 10(a)(ii) of Part II KS& SSR is applicable. (v) Candidates claiming equivalent qualification for the qualifications mentioned in the notification shall produce the Government Order/equivalent certificate from the concerned institution at the time of verification to prove the equivalence. (vi) In case of any change in the caste entry in the SSLC book of the candidates, the candidates should claim the correct caste in the application and produce the caste certificate/non-creamy layer certificate issued by the concerned Revenue Authority and the relevant Gazette notification at the time of verification. (vii) Appropriate disciplinary action will be taken against candidates who provide false claims regarding educational qualifications and then provide confirmation for the exam but appear or do not appear for the exam, as per Rule 22 of KPSC Rules of Procedure 1976. (viii) Probation: Candidates appointed to this post will be on probation for a period of two years on duty within a continuous period of three years from the date of joining the post.
