Direct Recruitment (Special Recruitment from among physically Handicapped candidates belonging to Locomotor disability/Cerebral palsy, Hearing impairment, Low vision).

(I) For Locomotor disability/Cerebral palsy candidates:- 18-46. Only candidates born between 02.01.1968 and 01.01.1996(both dates included) are eligible to apply for this post. (ii) For Hearing impairment, Low vision:- 18-50. Only candidates born between 02.01.1964 and 01.01.1996 (both dates included) are eligible to apply for this post.

1 Must have passed SSLC or equivalent And 2 Must possess any one of the following (a) Kerala Government Certificate Examination (2 year course) in Civil Engineering. (b) Diploma in Craftsmanship in the Trade of Draftsman (Civil) obtained after 18 months course (followed by 6 months practical training) at the industrial training institute/Centres conducted by Government of India, Ministry of Labour. (c) Diploma in Civil Engineering (2 years course) in Women's Poly technics.

The Ranked list prepared in pursuance of this notification is intended to make recruitment to the back log vacancies earmarked for various categories and PH groups as per GO(p) No.7/11/SWD dtd 24.01.11 and will remain in force for a maximum period of three years subject to the condition that the ranked list will cease to exist as and when candidates are advised and appointed against the above mentioned vacancies Rule 14 to 17 of Part II KS&SSR are not applicable to this selection. Candidates will be advised and appointed against the mentioned vacancies and also against backlog vacancies, if any reported by appointing authorities as earmarked in GO(p) No.7/11/SWD dtd 24.01.11 Selection to the above mentioned vacancies will be made from among the (Locomotor disability/Cerebral palsy, Hearing impairment, Low vision) PH categories found suitable for the post as per existing Govt.Orders. Note:- Applications submitted by candidates other than those belonging to PH (Locomotor disability/Cerebral palsy, Hearing impairment, Low vision) category will be rejected. Individual rejection memo will not be sent to them. Candidates shall register as per 'ONE TIME REGISTRATION ‘ system on the Official Website of Kerala Public Service Commission 'www.keralapsc.gov.in' for applying for the post. Candidates who have registered shall apply by logging on to their profile using their User- ID and password. Documents to prove Qualification, community, age and disability certificate from the standing disability assessment board have to be produced as and when called for. As per para 7 of GO(P) No.7/11/SWD dtd 24.01.2011, appropriate adjustment will be made, if necessary, in the ratio among different categories, as and when the Govt. issued appropriate orders thereto, in order to recoup the paucity in the same due to Blind and Deaf categories during the period up to 2003.
