Age Limit
18-36. Only candidates born between 02.01.1988 and 01.01.2006 (both dates included) are eligible to apply for this post, with usual age relaxation to Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribes and Other Backward Classes. Note: For concession allowed in upper age limit, subject to the conditions that the maximum age limit shall in no case exceed 50 years, please see Para 2 of the General Conditions under Part II of the Gazette notification.
Qualifications
i S.S.L.C. or its equivalent and ii a Diploma in Health Inspector Course (2 years) conducted by the Government. OR ii b Health Inspectors Certificate from any of the Medical Colleges in Kerala OR Ii c Sanitary Inspectors Certificate of Bombay or Madras OR Ii d Sanitary Inspectors Certificate of All India Institute of Local Government, Mumbai OR Ii e Certificate in Sanitary Inspectors Course awarded by the National Council for Rural Higher Education. OR Ii f Sanitary Inspectors training Course conducted by the Rural Institute, Thavanoor OR Ii g Any other equivalent qualification.
Notes
1. KS&SSR Part II Rule 10(a)(ii) is applicable for selection to this Post. 2. In addition to the qualifications prescribed in the notification, the qualifications recognized by executive orders or standing orders of Government as equivalent to a qualification specified for a post, in the Special Rules or found acceptable by the Commission in cases where acceptance of equivalent qualifications is provided for in the rules and such of those qualifications which pre-suppose the acquisition of the lower qualification prescribed for the post, shall also be sufficient for the post. The copy of the Government orders declaring equivalent/higher qualifications shall be produced as and when required by the Commission. 3. 4% of the vacancies reported for the post shall be reserved for differently abled candidates with disabilities as specified vide G.O(P)No.5/2024/SJD dated 07.02.2024 and G.O (P) No.14/2024/SJD dtd 29.10.2024. Low Vision Candidates are not eligible for the above DA reservation.
