18-36. Only candidates born between 02.01.1989 and 01.01.2007 (both dates included) are eligible to apply for this post, with usual age relaxation to Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribes and Other Backward Classes. Note: For concession allowed in upper age limit, subject to the conditions that the maximum age limit shall in no case exceed 50 years, please see Para 2 of the General Conditions under Part II of the Gazette notification.

(i) Should have passed Standard IV and should not have passed Standard X and (ii) Knowledge of cycling. and (iii) Physical Standards :- (a) Minimum Height : 5' 2” (157.48 cm) (b) Vision-without glasses : Normal (free from colour blindness) (c) Must be Physically fit for outdoor work. (d) A Medical Certificate in prescribed format to prove the physical fitness

Note: (i) A Ranked list will be prepared for Thrissur District in pursuance of this notification. The Ranked list thus prepared and published by the Commission, shall remain in force for a minimum period of one year, subject to the condition that the said Ranked list will continue to be in force till the publication of a new Ranked list after the expiry of the minimum period of one year or till the expiry of three years whichever is earlier. Candidates will be advised for appointment against aforesaid vacancy and also against the vacancies, if any, reported during the currency of the Ranked list. In case no candidate is advised from the Ranked List till the expiry of the period of three years, the duration of the Ranked List shall be extended for a further period of one year or till at least one candidate is advised from the list whichever is earlier. (ii) Candidates should submit application for this post to Thrissur district where the vacancy is existing and should note the name of the district against the relevant column in the online application. Note :- Women and Differently abled candidates are not eligible to apply for this post. Certificate should be one issued by a Medical Officer in Government service not below the rank of an Assistant Surgeon.
