20-36, Candidates must be born between 02.01.1985 and 01.01.2001 (both dates included).
Qualifications
(a). Educational Qualification: Degree. Note: Achievements in Sports, Military Training, NCC are considered as desirable qualifications. (b). Physical Qualifications: Must be physically fit. Candidates must have the following physical standards: 1) Height - 160 cm 2) Chest - 81 cm (minimum 5 cm expansion required). (c). Physical Efficiency: Must possess the required physical efficiency and vision standards as certified by a District Medical Officer of the Health Department.
Notes
1. Differently abled candidates and women candidates are not eligible to apply for this post. 2. Applications submitted by candidates not belonging to Scheduled Tribes will be rejected. 3. KS&SSR part II Rule 10(a)(ii) is applicable. 4. Candidates must produce the original Medical Certificate in the prescribed format at the time of certificate verification. 5. Candidates must pass the physical efficiency test in at least 5 out of 8 items specified in the notification. 6. Training: One year training at Police Training College and 10 1/2 months practical training. 7. Probation: 2 years of probation within a continuous period of 3 years from the date of completion of practical training.
