Direct Recruitment (From candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste Converts to Christianity (SCCC) only)

20-34 , Only candidates born between 02.01.1990 and 01.01.2004 (both dates included). Note : Other conditions regarding age relaxation in Para 2 of part II general conditions of the Gazette Notification are not applicable to this selection.

(a) Educational Qualification : Graduation (b) Physical Qualification : Should be Physically fit. Candidates should possess minimum physical standards as prescribed below. Male Candidates Height 165.10 cm Chest Measurement 81.28 cm Chest Expansion 5.08 cm Female Candidates Height :160 cm Note: Taller persons may be given preference. (c) Both the male and Female candidates must be certified to possess the visual standards specified without glasses. Left Eye Right Eye 1 Distant Vision 6/6 Snellen 6/6 Snellen 2 Near Vision 0.5 Snellen 0.5 Snellen Note: 1) Each eye must have a full field of vision. 2) Colour Blindness, Squint or any morbid condition of the eyes or lids of either eye shall be a disqualification. 3) Candidates must be free from apparent physical defects like Knock-knee, Flat Feet, Varicose veins, Bow legs, Deformed limbs, irregular and protruding teeth, defective speech and hearing. (d) Candidates should produce a medical certificate in original at the time of physical efficiency test/certificate verification in the form prescribed hereunder certifying to their physical fitness and eyesight without glasses obtained from a Medical Officer not below the rank of a Civil Surgeon. (e) Military Training, Membership of NCC, Sports,etc., will be considered as additional qualification. (f) In addition to the qualification prescribed above every candidate will be subjected to a Physical Efficiency Test. The Physical Measurement of the candidates will be taken at the time of Physical Efficiency Test and those who do not possess the prescribed Physical Measurements will not be admitted for the Physical Efficiency Test.

Note:1. Women candidates are also eligible to apply for this post. 2. Differently abled candidates are not eligible to apply for this post. Note: i) Applications subitted by candidates belonging to the communities other than Scheduled Caste Converts to Christianity (SCCC) communities will be summarily rejected. No rejection memo will be issued to such candidates. ii) The above vacancy is now in existence. The ranked list Published as per this notification will be valid until candidates are advised and appointed against the vacancy earmarked for above community, but remain unfilled due to paucity of candidates during the currency of the Ranked List published on 07/06/2023 (Cat.No. 388/19) Note 1 Rule 10 (a) (ii) of Part II of KS & SSR is applicable. Note 2 In addition to the qualification specified in the Notification, the qualifications declared by Government through executive orders or standing orders, as equivalent to the prescribed educational qualification and the higher qualifications of the notified and prescribed basic qualifications shall be accepted. The Government Order regarding the equivalent qualification/ higher qualification shall be produced as and when called for by the commission. Note 3 In the case of difference in original caste/community claimed in the application and that entered in SSLC book, the candidate shall produce a gazette notification in this regard along with Non creamy layer certificate issued by the competent revenue authority, at the time of certificate verification. (g) Physical Efficiency Test for Male Candidates Male Candidates must qualify any of the five events out of the eight specified below in the National Physical Efficiency Test of one star standard(as per G.O.(Ms) No.104/88/Home dated 20.08.1988) (h) Physical Efficiency Test for Female Candidates Female Candidates should qualify in any five events out of the eight specified below in the National Physical Efficiency Test of One Star Standard. (As per G.O. (P) No. 65/2009/Home dated 25.05.2009) Note: If accidents or injuries happen to a candidate while participating in the Physical Efficiency Test, he/she will not be given further chance to participate in the test. 8. Conditions of Service On selection, the candidates will be under training in the Police Training College for a period of one year. Thereafter they will be on Practical Training for 10 ½ months in the district. The period of training in Police Training College and period of Practical Training in District will not be counted for the purpose of probation, increment and service. On appointment after successful completion of training, the candidates will be on probation for a period of 2 years on duty within a continuous period of 3 years from the date on which they take independent charge of the station. During the period of training in the police training college and practical training in the districts and till successful completion of probationary period the trainee shall be paid such stipend as may be prescribed by the Government form time to time. As per G.O. (Ms) No. 44/85/Home dated 25.02.1985 the Deputy Inspector General of Police is empowered to extend the period of training of the trainees whose performance is found to be unsatisfactory, subject to a maximum of six months in each case. Despite such extension, if the performance of the trainee does not improve, the matter will be brought to the notice of the Inspector General of Police (Head Quarters) and the State Police Chief and if they deem it necessary, will discharge the trainee from training after giving due notice to him/her.
