20-36: Candidates must be born between 02.01.1985 and 01.01.2001 (both dates included).
Qualifications
(A). Educational Qualifications: Degree. Note: (1) KS & SSR Part II Rule 10(a)(ii) is applicable. (2) Candidates claiming equivalent qualification should produce Government order proving the equivalency at the time of verification. (3) In case of difference in caste recorded in SSLC book, candidates must produce a caste certificate from the Revenue Authority along with the relevant Gazette notification at the time of verification. (B). Physical Qualifications: Must be physically fit. Minimum height: 150 cm. (C). Vision: Must have the following vision standards without glasses: Right Eye: Distant Vision 6/6 Snellen, Near Vision 0.5 Snellen Left Eye: Distant Vision 6/6 Snellen, Near Vision 0.5 Snellen Note: Each eye must have full vision. Colour blindness, squint, or any morbid conditions of the eye or lids are disqualifications. Flat foot, knock knee, varicose vein, deformed limbs, defective teeth, and hearing/speech defects are disqualifications. (D). Candidates must produce a medical certificate in the prescribed format from a Medical Officer not below the rank of a Civil Surgeon at the time of verification. (E). Sports, Military training, NCC membership, etc., are considered additional qualifications. (F). Candidates will be subjected to a physical efficiency test. Physical measurements will be taken prior to the test. Candidates without the prescribed physical measurements will not be allowed to participate. (G). Physical Efficiency Test: Candidates must qualify in at least 5 out of the 8 items specified in the One Star Standard.
Notes
1. The rank list prepared will be valid for a minimum of one year from the date of publication. Vacancies reported during the validity of the list will also be filled from this list. 2. Candidates must complete one year of training at the Police Training College and 10.5 months of practical training. 3. During the training period, candidates will receive the Minimum Scale of Pay and allowances. 4. Probation: 2 years of probation within a continuous period of 3 years from the date of completion of training. 5. Candidates must confirm their participation in the written/OMR/online examination through their One Time Registration profile. Failure to confirm will lead to rejection of the application. 6. Misrepresentation of qualifications or failure to attend the exam after confirmation will lead to disciplinary action as per Rule 22 of the Rules of Procedure 1976.
