18 - 40. Candidates should be born between 02/01/1981 and 01/01/2003 (both dates included). Other backward communities and SC/ST candidates are eligible for usual age relaxation. (Refer to Part-II, Para 2 of the General Conditions for age relaxation details).

1. Degree in Mechanical Engineering/Mechanical Engineering (any stream) from a recognized University. 2. 3 (Three) years of experience in Executive cadre in the relevant field.

1. The vacancies mentioned are for the General Category. Vacancies arising in the future will be divided in 1:1 ratio between General and Society categories. Society category vacancies will be notified separately as Category II. 2. The Ranked List prepared will be valid for a minimum of one year and a maximum of three years. If a new list is published after one year, the current list will cease to be valid. 3. Selection is on a State-wide basis. 4. As per KCS Act 184, candidates appointed will be on probation for two years within a continuous service period of three years. 5. Rule 10(a)(ii) of Part II, KS&SSR is applicable. 6. Candidates claiming equivalent qualification must produce the Government Order proving equivalency at the time of certificate verification. 7. Caste/Non-Creamy Layer certificate and relevant Gazette notification must be produced at the time of verification if there is a change in caste entry in SSLC book. 8. Experience certificate must be uploaded at the time of application in the prescribed format. 9. Candidates must produce the original experience certificate at the time of verification. 10. Application fee is not required. 11. Candidates must keep a soft copy/print out of the application for future use. 12. Candidates must confirm their participation in the exam through their OTR profile when notified. 13. Aadhaar card should be provided as identity proof in the profile.
