18-43. Candidates belonging to OBC, Hindu Nadar, SCCC, Dheevara communities born between 02.01.1979 and 01.01.2004 (both dates included) are eligible to apply. (Including upper age relaxation as per conditions). (For conversion from SC to Christianity and their children, upper age limit is 45 years. Candidates should be born between 02.01.1977 and 01.01.2004). 18-45. Candidates belonging to SC, ST communities born between 02.01.1977 and 01.01.2004 (both dates included) with usual age relaxation.

1) A Degree in Arabic conferred or recognized by the Universities in Kerala. OR A Title of Oriental Learning in Arabic awarded or recognized by the Universities in Kerala. OR Pre-Degree with Part III Arabic (Special Optional) of the University of Calicut. OR Plus Two Part III Arabic (Optional) course conducted by the Board of Higher Secondary Education, Kerala. OR SSLC Examination of the Kerala Government Examination Board with First Language (First Paper and Second Paper) Arabic taken and passed. OR SSLC Examination or its equivalent, and any of the following qualifications: 1) Muslim Munshi (Higher) Examination passed. 2) Muslim Munshi (Lower) Examination passed. 3) Arabic Teachers Examination passed. 4) Entrance Examination for Arabic conducted by the Universities of Kerala or Calicut. Note: BA Arabic & Islamic History Double Main degree awarded or recognized by the Universities in Kerala is also a prescribed qualification as per G.O.(Ms) No.8/19/G.Edn dated 14.01.2019. 2) Must have passed the Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test (K-TET-IV) for this post. Exemption: Candidates who have qualified CTET/NET/SET/M.Phil/Ph.D/M.Ed in the respective subjects are exempted from acquiring TET test.

(i) Applications submitted by candidates belonging to communities other than those notified will be summarily rejected. (ii) Separate Ranked Lists will be prepared for each community district-wise in pursuance of this notification. (iii) The candidates should submit application to districts where vacancies are reported and should note the district name in the application column. (iv) Selection to this district-wise post will be subject to the special conditions in G.O.(MS) No.154/71/PD dated 27.05.1971. (v) Affirmation (Confirmation) has to be sent through OTR profile for writing the exam. (vi) AADHAAR card should be provided in the profile as ID proof.
