Recruitment by Transfer (District wise) By transfer from among the eligible members of Depot Watchers, Reserve Watchers and Other Last Grade Servants in the Kerala Forest Department, who have been declared to be an approved probationer.

(a) SSLC or its equivalent examination recognized by Government of India or Government of Kerala. Note: (i) Rule 10(a)(ii) of Part II of KS & SSR is applicable. (ii) Candidates who claim equivalent qualification shall produce the relevant Government order to prove the claim at the time of One Time Verification or as required by the Commission. (b) All candidates must have a valid motor driving licence endorsed for all types of transport vehicles (LMV, HGMV & HPMV) and experience of not less than 3 years in driving motor vehicles. Note: (i) The driving license, must remain valid through all the stages of selection process as on the last date for receipt of application, OMR Test, Practical Test, Physical Efficiency Test etc. (ii) Experience Certificate to prove 3 years experience as Driver should be submitted in the form shown below. (iii) Proficiency in driving will be tested by a Practical Test conducted by PSC. (c) Physical fitness. Height: Minimum 168 cms Chest (Normal): Minimum 81 cms Chest (On expansion): Minimum of 86 cms Note: - A minimum chest expansion of 5 cms is required. Minimum height measurement of Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe candidates shall be 160 cm. But no relaxation in chest expansion of 5 cm shall be allowed for Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe candidates. (d) All candidates must qualify in any of the Five events out of the Eight events specified below of the National Physical Efficiency One Star Standard Test for men. (e) All candidates must possess medical standards as prescribed.

Note: Women candidates and Differently Abled candidates are not eligible to apply for the post. (i) The name, age limit and qualifications of this post has been prescribed as per the G.O(P)No.60/2010/F&WLD dated 30.08.2010 (SRO No.861/2010), G.O(Ms)No.77/2012/F&WLD dated 16.07.2012, G.O(P)No. 84/2014/F&WLD dated 20.09.2014 (SRO No.574/2014)and G.O(P)No. 2/2016/F & WLD dated 17.02.2016 (SRO No. 199/2016). (ii) Candidates are prohibited from applying to more than one District in response to this notification. If applications are submitted in contrary to the above direction and if he is selected, his name will be deleted from the Ranked List and disciplinary action will be taken against him. Candidates already in Government service holding the same post in any one district are prohibited from applying again for this post but they can apply to higher posts when notified. (iii) Separate ranked lists for each District will be published. The Ranked List of selected candidates published by the Commission shall remain in force for a minimum period of one year and a maximum period of three years provided that the said list will not continue to be in force if a new list after the expiry of the minimum period of One year is published. Candidates will be advised from the said list against the vacancies that may be reported to the Commission in writing during the period of currency of the Ranked List. (iv) Candidates who are eligible to apply for both Direct Recruitment and Recruitment by transfer need not select the same District for both categories. But they should submit separate application for each category even if they select the same district. If candidate included in both Ranked Lists is advised from any one of the lists, his name will be removed from the other list. (v) The selection in pursuance of this notification will be made on a revenue district basis, subject to the special conditions laid down in G.O (MS) No. 154/71/PD dated 27.05.1971. A candidate advised for appointment in one Revenue District from the Ranked List prepared is not eligible for transfer to another district unless he completes 5 years continuous service from the date of commencement of service in the former district. Even if transfer is allowed after five years, it will be subject to the rules in G.O(MS) No.4/61/PD dated 02.01.1961. (vi) Candidates having applied with caste entry different from that in the SSLC book need to be notified in the Gazette. Gazette notification and original Community Certificate/Non Creamy layer certificate issued by the Revenue authorities, should be produced to prove their claim in application, at the time of verification. Quota reserved for the Direct Recruitment shall be 90% and recruitment by transfer shall be 10%. First nine turns will be filled up by candidates through direct recruitment and tenth turn will be reserved for by transfer recruitment. The principles of rules of reservation and rotation prescribed in rule 14 to 17 of part II of the KS&SSR, 1958 will not apply for this notification. If required number of candidates are not available in the ranked lists prepared for appointment by transfer, such vacancies shall be filled up from the ranked lists prepared for respective districts under direct recruitment.
