Direct Recruitment (District Wise) Note:- Quota reserved for the Direct Recruitment shall be 90% and that of By Transfer Recruitment shall be 10%. Candidates will be selected according to the percentage of allotment. First nine turns will be filled up by candidates through Direct Recruitment and tenth turn will be reserved for By Transfer Recruitment.

23–36; Candidates born between 02.01.1989 and 01.01.2002 (both dates included) only are eligible to apply for this post. Note: i) Other Backward Communities and SC/ST candidates are eligible for age relaxations as per the conditions mentioned in para 2 (i) of the Part II General Conditions of this notification ii) For other conditions regarding age relaxation, please see para-(2) of the General Conditions under Part II of this Gazette Notification. (Subject to the conditions that the maximum age limit shall in no case exceed 50 years).

(a) SSLC or its equivalent examination recognized by Government of India or Government of Kerala. Note: (i) Rule 10(a)(ii) of Part II KS & SSR is applicable. (ii) In addition to the qualification specified in the Notification, the qualification declared by Government through executive orders or standing orders, as equivalent to the prescribed educational qualification and the higher qualifications of the notified and prescribed basic qualifications shall be accepted. The Government Order regarding the equivalent qualification/higher qualification shall be produced as and when called for by the Commission. (b) All candidates must have a valid Motor Driving License endorsed for all types of transport vehicles (LMV, HGMV & HPMV) and experience for not less than 3 years in driving motor vehicles. Note: (i) The driving license, must remain valid through all the stages of selection process as on the last date for receipt of application, OMR Test, Physical Efficiency Test , Practical Test etc. (ii) Proficiency in driving will be tested by a Practical Test conducted by Kerala Public Service Commission. (iii) Experience Certificate to prove 3 years experience as Driver should be submitted in the form shown below. (c) Physical Standards: Height : Must not be less than 168 cms. Chest : Minimum of 81 cms round the chest and must have an expansion of Minimum 5 cms Note: - Minimum height measurement of Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe candidates shall be 160 cm. But no relaxation in chest expansion of 5 cm shall be allowed for Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe candidates. (d) Physical Efficiency Test: All candidates must qualify in any of the Five events out of the Eight events specified below of the National Physical Efficiency one star standard test for men. (e) Medical Standards:- All candidates must possess medical standards prescribed below. (i) Ear: Hearing should be perfect. (ii) Eye: Must be certified to possess visual standards specified below without glasses. (iii) Muscles and joints: No paralysis and all joints with free movements. (iv) Nervous System: Perfectly normal and free from any infectious diseases.

(i) Women candidates and Differently Abled candidates are not eligible to apply for the post. (ii) The name, age limit and qualifications of this post has been prescribed as per the G.O(P)No. 60/2010/F & WLD dated 30.08.2010 (SRO No. 861/2010), G.O(P)No.77/2012/F & WLD dated 16.07.2012 , G.O(P)No. 84/2014/F & WLD dated 20.09.2014 (SRO No.574/2014) and G.O(P)No. 2/2016/F & WLD dated 17.02.2016 (SRO No. 199/2016). (iii) Candidates already in Government service holding the same post in any one district are prohibited from applying again for this post but they can apply to higher posts when notified. (iv) The Ranked List of selected candidates published by the Commission shall remain in force for minimum period of one year and maximum period of three years provided that the said list will not continue to be in force if a new list after the expiry of the minimum period of One year is published. Candidates will be advised from the said list against the vacancies that may be reported to the Commission in writing during the period of currency of the Ranked List. (v) The selection in pursuance of this notification will be made on a revenue district basis, subject to the special conditions laid down in G.O (Ms) No. 154/71/PD dated 27.05.1971. A candidate advised for appointment in one Revenue District from the Ranked List prepared is not eligible for transfer to another district unless she completes 5 years continuous service from the date of commencement of service in the former district. Even if transfer is allowed after five years, it will be subject to the rules in G.O(Ms) No.4/61/PD dated 02.01.1961. 8. Forest Driver appointed by direct recruitment shall undergo training for not more than three months in any of the Forest Training School as prescribed Principal Chief Conservator of Forest. Forest Driver who does not complete successfully the training course as prescribed will be terminated and will be discharged from service. 9. Candidates having 'A', 'B' & 'C' certificate of NCC will be given weightage marks at the rate of 2%, 3% and 5% respectively, vide G.O(Ms) No.112/2007/HEdn.Dated 21.08.2007. 10. Student Police Cadet (SPC) Certificate holders will be given weightage marks as per G.O.(MS) No.06/2025/P&RD dated 01.03.2025.
