Direct Recruitment (District wise) Note:- Quota reserved for the Direct Recruitment shall be 90% and that of By Transfer Recruitment shall be 10%. Candidates will be selected according to the percentage of allotment. First nine turns will be filled up by candidates through Direct Recruitment and tenth turn will be reserved for By Transfer Recruitment.

23–36; Candidates born between 02.01.1986 and 01.01.1999 (both dates included) only are eligible to apply for this post. Note: i) Other Backward Communities and SC/ST candidates are eligible for age relaxations as per the conditions mentioned in para 2 (i) of the Part II of the General Conditions of this notification ii) For other conditions regarding age relaxation, please see para-(2) of the General Conditions under Part II of this Gazette Notification. (Subject to the conditions that the maximum age limit shall in no case exceed 50 years).

(a) SSLC or its equivalent examination recognized by Government of India or Government of Kerala. Note: (i) Rule 10(a)(ii) of Part II KS & SSR is applicable. (ii) Candidates who claim equivalent qualification shall produce the relevant Government order to prove the claim at the time of One Time Verification or as required by the Commission. (b) All candidates must have a valid Motor Driving licence endorsed for all types of transport vehicles (LMV, HGMV & HPMV) and experience of not less than 3 years in driving motor vehicles. Note: (i) The driving licence, must remain valid through all the stages of selection process as on the last date for receipt of application, OMR Test, Practical Test, Physical Efficiency Test etc. (ii) Experience Certificate to prove 3 years experience as Driver should be submitted in the form shown below. (iii) Proficiency in driving will be tested by a Practical Test conducted by PSC. (c) Physical fitness. Height : Minimum of 168 cms. Chest (Normal) : Minimum of 81 cms Chest (on expansion) : Minimum of 86 cms Note: - A minimum chest expansion of 5 cms is required. Minimum height measurement of Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe candidates shall be 160 cm. But no relaxation in chest expansion of 5 cm shall be allowed for Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe candidates. (d) All candidates must qualify in any of the Five events out of the Eight events specified below of the National Physical Efficiency One Star Standard test for men. (e) All candidates must possess medical standards prescribed below.

Note: Women candidates and Differently Abled candidates are not eligible to apply for the post. (i) The name, age limit and qualifications of this post has been prescribed as per the G.O(P)No. 60/2010/F&WLD dated 30.08.2010(SRONo.861/2010), G.O(Ms)No.77/2012/F&WLD dated 16.07.2012, G.O(P)No. 84/2014/F&WLD dated 20.09.2014 (SRO No.574/2014)and G.O(P)No. 2/2016/F & WLD dated 17.02.2016 (SRO No. 199/2016). (ii) Candidates are prohibited from applying to more than one district in response to this notification. If applications are submitted contrary to the above direction and if he is selected, his name will be deleted from the Ranked List and disciplinary action will be taken against him. Candidates already in Government service holding the same post in any one district are prohibited from applying again for this post but they can apply to higher posts when notified. (iii) Separate ranked lists for each District will be published. The Ranked List of selected candidates published by the Commission shall remain in force for minimum period of one year and maximum period of three years provided that the said list will not continue to be in force if a new list after the expiry of the minimum period of One year is published. (iv) Candidates having applied with caste entry different from that in the SSLC book need to be notified in the Gazette. Gazette notification and original Community Certificate/Non Creamy layer certificate issued by the Revenue authorities, should be produced to prove their claim in application, at the time of verification. (v) The selection in pursuance of this notification will be made on a revenue district basis, subject to the special conditions laid down in G.O (Ms) No. 154/71/PD dated 27.05.1971. A candidate advised for appointment in one Revenue District from the Ranked List prepared is not eligible for transfer to another district unless he completes 5 years continuous service from the date of commencement of service in the former district. Even if transfer is allowed after five years, it will be subject to the rules in G.O(MS) No.4/61/PD dated 02.01.1961. 8. Forest Driver appointed by direct recruitment shall undergo training for not more than three months in any of the Forest Training School as prescribed by the Principal Chief Conservator of Forest. Forest Driver who does not complete successfully the training course as prescribed will be terminated and will be discharged from service. 9. Mode of submitting application: Candidates must register as per ‘ONE TIME REGISTRATION’ with the official Website of Kerala Public Service Commission (www.keralapsc.gov.in) before applying for the post. 10. Appropriate Disciplinary action as per Rules of procedure Rule 22 shall be initiated against those candidates who submit applications with bogus claims of qualification regarding education, experience etc and submit confirmation for writing examination irrespective of whether they are present or absent for the examination. 12. If Written Test/OMR Test/Online Test is conducted as a part of this selection candidate shall submit a confirmation for writing the examination through their One Time Registration Profile.
