18-41. Only candidates born between 02.01.1983 and 01.01.2006 (both dates are included) are eligible to apply for this post with usual relaxation to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and Other Backward Communities (for other conditions regarding age relaxation, please see Part- 2 of the General conditions.)

MSc or Equivalent Degree(First or Second Class) in Geology or Applied Geology or Bachelors Degree in Mining Engineering from a recognized University.

Note I :- a) The list of selected candidates published by the Commission in response to this notification shall remain in force for a minimum period of one year provided that the said list will continue to be in force till the publication of a new list after the expiry of the minimum period of one year or till the expiry of three years whichever is earlier. Candidates will be advised from the said list against the mentioned vacancies noted above and also against the vacancies if any reported to the Commission in writing during the currency of the list. b) 4% of the vacancies for the post shall be reserved for eligible Differently Abled candidates vide GO(P) No. 5/2023/SJD dated 01.10.2023. Note I a) Probation : Every person appointed shall be from the date on which joins duty be on probation, for a total period of two years on duty within a continuous period of three years. b)Test : Every person appointed shall within the prescribed period of probation pass the Account Test(Lower) or (Higher) if he has not already passed the same. Note II: a) Rule 10 a (ii) of part II of KS&SSR is applicable. b) In addition to the qualifications prescribed in this notification, the qualifications recognized by executive orders, or standing orders of Government as equivalent to a qualification specified for a post, in the Special Rules and such of those qualifications which pre - suppose the acquisition of the lower qualification prescribed for the post , shall also be sufficient for the post. The copy of the Government orders declaring equivalent/higher qualifications shall be produced as and when required by the Commission.
