Direct Recruitment (from candidates belonging to specified reservation communities only)

(i) For SC :19-35, ie; Candidates born between 02.01.1990 and 01.01.2006 (both dates included) are eligible to apply for this post. (ii) for other reservation communities: 19-33, ie; Candidates born between 02.01.1992 and 01.01.2006 (both dates included) are eligible to apply for this post. (Including the relaxation in Para2(i) of the General conditions) (For other conditions regarding age relaxation, please see Para (2) of the General Conditions except Para 2(i) under Part II of this notification.)

1. Educational Qualifications Pass in Plus Two Examination conducted by the Board of Higher Secondary Education, Government of Kerala or Equivalent examination recognized by Government of India or Government of Kerala. Note:- i) KS & SSR Part II Rule 10(a)(ii) is applicable. ii) In addition to the qualification prescribed in the notification the qualifications recognized by Executive orders or standing orders of Government as equivalent to a qualification specified for a post and such of those qualifications which presuppose the acquisition of the lower qualifications prescribed for the post shall also be sufficient for the post. The Government orders declaring equivalent/ higher qualification shall be produced as and when called for by the commission. 2. Candidates should possess the following qualifications also. a) Male Candidates (i) Physical Standards: Height- A minimum of 168 cms, Chest- A minimum of 81cms around the chest and must have an expansion of 5 cms on full inhalation. Note:- Minimum height measurement of Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe candidates shall be 160 cm. The minimum chest expansion of 5 cm shall be made applicable to the Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe candidates. (ii) Physical Efficiency Test: All the male candidates must qualify in any of the 5 (five) events out of the 8 (eight) events specified below of the National Physical Efficiency One Star Standard test. (iii) Endurance Test: All male candidates shall successfully complete an endurance test of running 2 Kilometers in 13 (Thirteen) minutes. b) Female Candidates (i) Physical Standards: Height-A minimum of 157 cms. Note: Minimum height measurement of Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe candidates shall be 150 cm. (ii) Physical Efficiency Test: All the Female candidates must qualify any of the 5 (five) events out of the 9 (nine) events specified below of the National Physical Efficiency One Star Standard test. (iii) Endurance Test: All female candidates shall successfully complete an endurance test of running 2 Kilometers in 15 (fifteen) minutes. 3. Medical Standards:- Both male and female candidates must possess medical standards prescribed below.

(i) Differently Abled Candidates are not eligible to apply for this post. (ii) Applications submitted by candidates belonging to the communities other than notified will be summarily rejected. No rejection memo will be issued. (iii) Candidates already in Govt. Service holding the same post in any one district are prohibited from applying again for this post, but they can apply to higher posts when notified. (iv) Separate Ranked List for each district will be published. The above vacancies are now in existence. Ranked list will be prepared for each community in pursuance of this notification. The Ranked List published as per this notification shall remain in force until candidates are advised and appointed against the vacancies earmarked for the above communities, but remain unfilled due to paucity of candidates during the currency of the Mother Ranked List published for the post as detailed below. (v) The name, age limit and qualifications of this post has been prescribed as per the G.O(P)No. 60/2010/F & WLD dated 30.08.2010 (SRO No. 861/2010) and G.O(P)No. 84/2014/F & WLD dated 20.09.2014 (SRO No. 574/2014). (vi) Candidates having 'A', 'B' & 'C' certificate of NCC will be given weightage marks at the rate of 2%, 3% and 5% respectively, vide G.O(Ms)No.112/2007/HEdn. Dated 21.08.2007. (vii) Student Police Cadet (SPC) Certificate holders will be given weightage marks as per G.O.(MS) No.06/2025/P&RD dated 01.03.2025. (viii) Extra marks will be awarded to meritorious sports persons as per para 6 of the general conditions. 8. Candidates who are appointed to service shall undergo training for one year in any of the forest training schools. The probation of those who do not successfully complete this training course will be terminated and they will be discharged from service. 9. Candidates appointed by Direct Recruitment shall be on probation for a total period of 2 years on duty within a continuous service of 3 years.
