18-45. Candidates belonging to the Scheduled Tribe community must have been born between 02.01.1977 and 01.01.2004 (both dates included).

1. SSLC or equivalent qualification. 2. A degree in Urdu language conferred or recognized by the Universities in Kerala. OR A title of Oriental Learning in Urdu awarded or recognized by the Universities in Kerala. OR A pass in Adib-i-Fazil (Preliminary) Examination in Urdu conducted by any of the Universities in Kerala. OR A pass in Urdu Higher Examination conducted by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala. OR BA Urdu and Islamic History double main degree awarded by Kannur University (G.O.(Ms) No.158/2018/G.Edn dated 12/11/2018). 3. Must have passed the Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test (K-TET-IV) for this post conducted by the Government of Kerala.

Notes: (i) Candidates must submit applications online through the official website of the Commission www.keralapsc.gov.in after 'One Time Registration'. (ii) Applications submitted by candidates not belonging to the reservation community mentioned in this notification will be rejected without notice. (iii) A rank list will be prepared for Kozhikode district. The validity of the NCA rank list will be until candidates are advised and appointed against the vacancies earmarked for the above community due to the paucity of candidates in the rank list published on the date mentioned below. (iv) Selection is district-wise as per G.O.(MS) No. 154/71/PD dated 27.05.1971. Candidates appointed from the district-wise rank list cannot be transferred to another district for five years from the date of commencement of service. After five years, transfer is subject to G.O.(MS) No. 04/61/PD dated 02.01.1961. However, as per G.O.(P) 12/96/P&ARD dated 16/03/1996, the five-year service condition is not applicable for transfer to Idukki, Kasaragod, and Wayanad districts. This concession is available only once during their official tenure. This concession is not available for transfer from the aforementioned districts to other districts. Candidates already in government service in the same post in any district are not eligible to apply, but can apply for higher posts. (v) Candidates must record their reservation community vacancy for Kozhikode district only and specify the district name in the designated column of the application. (vi) Exemption from K-TET: Candidates with CTET/NET/SET/M.Phil/Ph.D/M.Ed qualifications in the relevant subject are exempted from the TET qualification (G.O. (P) No. 145/16/G.Edn dated 30.08.2016, G.O. (P) No. 206/16/G.Edn dated 08.12.2016). (vii) CTET is not accepted in lieu of K-TET Category III and IV as per circular 1866829/J3/2017/G.Edn dated 09/03/2018. (viii) Candidates who have passed KTET Category III are exempted from KTET Category IV (G.O.(Ms) No. 109/2022/G.Edn dated 24.06.2022). (ix) As per G.O(P) No.15/2020/G.Edn dated 09/10/2020, M.Ed qualification in the relevant subject is not mandatory in lieu of K-TET. (x) M.Phil qualification in the relevant subject must be from a recognized university in Kerala or recognized as equivalent by a university in Kerala. (xi) KS&SSR Part II Rule 10 a(ii) is applicable to this post. (xii) Special concessions regarding age limit and appointment for wives of Jawan and Scouts/Guides are applicable as per rules. (xiii) Candidates must upload a photo taken after 31/12/2012 with the name and date of the photo clearly recorded at the bottom. The photo is valid for 10 years. (xiv) Candidates must provide their Aadhar card as an identity document in their profile.
