Direct Recruitment (From candidates belonging to Ezhava/Thiyya/Billava community only).

18-43. Candidates born between 02.01.1979 and 01.01.2004 (both dates included) are eligible to apply. (Usual age relaxation as per General Conditions).

1) A Degree in Arabic conferred or recognized by the Universities in Kerala. OR A Title of Oriental Learning in Arabic awarded or recognized by the Universities in Kerala. OR A Pre-degree with Part III Arabic (Special Optional) of Calicut University. OR A pass in Plus Two, Part III Arabic (Optional) course conducted by the Board of Higher Secondary Education, Kerala. OR A pass in SSLC Examination of the Kerala Government with Arabic as First Language (Part I and II). OR A pass in SSLC Examination or its equivalent and a pass in any one of the following examinations: i) Arabic Munshi (Higher) Examination conducted by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala. ii) Arabic Munshi (Lower) Examination conducted by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala. iii) Arabic Teachers Examination conducted by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala. iv) Arabic Entrance Examination of the Kerala/Calicut Universities. Note: In addition to the above qualifications, BA Arabic & Islamic History double main degree awarded or recognized by the Universities in Kerala as per G.O.(MS) No. 8/19/G.Edn dated 14.01.2019 is also a qualification for this post. 2) Must have passed the Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test (KTET-IV) for this post conducted by the Government of Kerala. Exemption: Candidates who have acquired CTET/NET/SET/M.Phil/Ph.D/M.Ed in the respective subject are exempted from acquiring KTET (G.O. (P) No. 145/16/G.Edn. dated 30.08.2016, G.O. (P) No. 206/16/G.Edn. dated 08.12.2016). As per G.O.(P) No. 15/2020/G.Edn dated 09/10/2020, M.Ed need not be in the respective subject. Candidates who have acquired KTET Category III are exempted from acquiring KTET Category IV (G.O.(MS) No. 109/2022/GEDN dated 24.06.2022).

i) Applications must be submitted online through the official website of the Commission (www.keralapsc.gov.in) after One Time Registration. Applications submitted otherwise will be summarily rejected. ii) Applications submitted by candidates not belonging to the notified reservation community will be rejected without any notice. iii) A ranked list will be prepared for the district in pursuance of this notification. The ranked list thus prepared and published by the Commission shall remain in force until candidates are advised and appointed against the vacancies earmarked for the above community, but remain unfilled due to paucity of candidates during the currency of the ranked list published for the post in the district. iv) Candidates should submit the application for the district mentioned above only and note the name of the district in the specified column of the online application. v) The selection in pursuance of this notification will be made on a district-wise basis, subject to the special conditions laid down in G.O. (MS) No. 154/71/PD dated 27.05.1971. A person appointed from the ranked list prepared on a district-wise basis will not be eligible for transfer to another district for a period of five years from the date of commencement of service. After five years, if a transfer is requested, it will be subject to the conditions in G.O. (MS) No. 04/61/PD dated 02.01.1961. However, as per G.O.(P) No. 12/96/P&ARD dated 16.03.1996, the condition of five years service is not applicable for transfer to Idukki, Wayanad, and Kasaragod districts. This concession is available only once during the official career. However, this concession is not available for transfer from these districts to other districts. Candidates already in government service for the same post in any district are not eligible to apply for this notification. However, they can apply for a higher post.
