Direct Recruitment (from among candidates belonging to SC and Muslim Communities only).

SC: 18-41, Only candidates born between 02.01.1983 and 01.01.2006 (both dates included) are eligible to apply for this post. (Including age relaxation under para 2(i) of General Conditions) Muslim: 18-39, Only candidates born between 02.01.1985 and 01.01.2006 (both dates included) are eligible to apply for this post. Note: The provisional hands working in Kerala Forest Development Corporation Limited will be given age relaxation to the extent of their provisional service put in subject to a maximum of five years from the upper age limit provided they are within the prescribed age limit on the date of their first appointment in the above concern. But the regular employees of the concern are not eligible for the above concession for further appointment. The provisional hands should obtain a certificate showing the period of their provisional service in the concern and shall produce the same as and when required by the Commission. It would also be clearly specified in the Certificate that they were not working in the regular service of the concern.

(1) Science Degree of a recognized University or its equivalent. Note:- 1. Rule 10 a (ii) of Part II KS & SSR is applicable. 2. In addition to the qualification prescribed in the Notification, the qualifications recognized by executive orders or standing orders of Government as equivalent to a qualification specified for the post, in the Special Rules or found acceptable by the Commission in cases where acceptance of equivalent qualifications is provided for in the rules and such of those qualifications which pre-suppose the acquisition of the lower qualification prescribed for the post, shall also be sufficient for the post. The copy of the Government orders declaring equivalent/higher qualifications shall be produced as and when required by the Commission. (2) Physical Qualifications (i) Height: SC - 160 cms (Applicable to both Male and Female Candidates). Muslim - 167 cms (Applicable to both Male and Female Candidates). (ii) Chest: SC - 76 cms with a minimum expansion of 5 cms. (Not applicable to Female Candidates) Muslim - 81 cms with a minimum expansion of 5 cms. (Not applicable to Female Candidates) (iii) Eye sight :- Must be certified to possess the visual standard specified below without glasses. Right Eye Left Eye Distant Vision 6/6 Snellen 6/6 Snellen Near Vision 0.5 Snellen 0.5 Snellen Note:- Each Eye must have a full field of Vision. Colour blindness, squint or any morbid condition of the eye or lids of either eye will be deemed to be a disqualification. (iv) Candidates must be free from apparent physical defects like knock knee, flat foot, varicose veins, bow legs, deformed limbs, irregular and protruding teeth, defective speech and hearing. (v) Physical Efficiency Test. Must qualify in any 5 events out of the 8 items specified below of the National Physical Efficiency One Star Standard test.

1) The above vacancies are now in existence. The Ranked lists published as per this notification will be valid until candidates are advised and appointed against the vacancies earmarked for the above mentioned communities but remain unfilled due to paucity of candidates during the currency of the Mother Ranked List published on 08/12/2016 (Category No. 163/2013) for the post. This is the second NCA Notification published due to the non availability of qualified candidates belonging to SC, Muslim Communities after the issuance of the First NCA Notification. 2) The Kerala Public Service Commission shall have the power to cancel the advice for appointment of any candidate to the above post, if it is subsequently found that such advice was made under some mistake. On such cancellation the appointing authority shall terminate the service of the candidates, provided that the cancellation of advice for appointment by the Commission and subsequent termination of service of the candidate by the appointing authority shall be made within the period of probation or 240 days from the date of joining duty whichever is earlier. Applications submitted by candidates belonging to the communities other than the above mentioned communities will be summarily rejected. No rejection memo will be issued to such candidates. Candidates should produce at the time of Physical Efficiency Test a Medical Certificate in original in the form prescribed here under, Certifying to their physical fitness and eyesight without glasses. The Medical Certificate should be one obtained from a Medical Officer under the Government not below the rank of a Civil Surgeon. The Physical measurements of the candidates will be taken at the time of Physical Efficiency Test and those who do not possess the prescribed physical measurements will not be admitted for the Physical Efficiency Test. Selected Candidates should undergo physical training and training in Forestry for which they will be sent after selection. The Probation period is applicable as per the provisions of the Special Rules of the Kerala Forest Development Corporation Limited. Candidates must register as per ONE TIME REGISTRATION with the official Website of Kerala Public Service Commission www.keralapsc.gov.in before applying for the post. If Written/OMR/Online Test is conducted as part of this selection, candidates shall submit a confirmation for writing the examination through their One Time Registration profile.
