Direct Recruitment (From candidates belonging to SIUC Nadar community only).

18-43. Candidates born between 02.01.1979 and 01.01.2004 (both dates included) are eligible to apply. (Including the relaxation as per para 2(i) of the General Conditions). Note: The upper age limit shall in no case exceed 50 years subject to the other conditions regarding age relaxation.

1) A pass in SSLC Examination conducted by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala or its equivalent. OR A pass in Pre-degree examination conducted by any of the Universities in Kerala or any examination recognized by any such Universities in Kerala as equivalent to Pre-degree examination. OR A pass in Higher Secondary Examination conducted by the Board of Higher Secondary Examinations, Kerala or any other examination recognized by Government as equivalent thereto. 2) A pass in TTC (Kannada) examination conducted by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala. 3) Must have passed the Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test (K-TET) for this post conducted by the Government of Kerala.

Note: (i) Candidates must submit applications online through the official website www.keralapsc.gov.in after One Time Registration. Applications submitted otherwise will be summarily rejected. (ii) Applications submitted by candidates belonging to communities other than the notified reservation community will be rejected without any notice. (iii) A ranked list will be prepared for Kasaragod district only. The ranked list thus prepared and published by the Commission, shall remain in force until candidates are advised and appointed against the vacancies earmarked for the above community, but remain unfilled due to paucity of candidates during the currency of the ranked list published for the post in the district. (iv) Candidates should submit the application for the post in Kasaragod district and note the name of the district in the specified column. (v) The selection in pursuance of this notification will be made on a district-wise basis, subject to the special conditions laid down in G.O (MS) No. 154/71/PD dated 27.05.1971. A person appointed in a district from the ranked list prepared for that district is not eligible for transfer to another district for a period of 5 years from the date of commencement of service. Persons already in Government service holding the same post in any other district are not eligible to apply for this notification. However, they can apply to higher posts. (vi) Exemption from K-TET: Candidates who have acquired CTET/NET/SET/M.Phil/Ph.D/M.Ed in the respective subject are exempted from acquiring K-TET qualification. CTET Primary Stage will be accepted for KTET Category I and CTET Elementary Stage for KTET Category II. As per the circular dated 09.03.2018, CTET will not be accepted for KTET Category III and IV. (vii) If a written/OMR/Online test is conducted, candidates must submit confirmation through their One Time Registration profile. Failure to submit confirmation will lead to rejection of the application.
