Direct Recruitment (from among the eligible candidates belonging to Ezhava/Thiyya/Billava, Viswakarma, Dheevara, Latin Catholics/Anglo Indian, Muslim, Scheduled Caste communities only).

1. 18-43 : Ezhava/Thiyya/Billava, Viswakarma, Dheevara, Latin Catholics/Anglo Indian, Muslim communities: Candidates should have been born between 02.01.1979 and 01.01.2004 (both dates included). 2. 18-45 : Scheduled Caste community: Candidates should have been born between 02.01.1977 and 01.01.2004 (both dates included). [Including the age relaxation as per Para 2(i) of the General Conditions]. Note: - In no case, the upper age limit shall exceed 50 (Fifty) years.

1) Pass in SSLC Examination conducted by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala or its equivalent. OR A Degree in Pre-Degree or any University recognized by Universities in Kerala or equivalent qualification recognized by Universities in Kerala. OR Pass in Higher Secondary Examination conducted by the Board of Higher Secondary Examination, Government of Kerala or equivalent. 2) Pass in TTC (Tamil) Examination conducted by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala. 3) Must have passed the Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test (K-TET) for this post conducted by Government of Kerala. Exemption - 1. Candidates who have acquired NET/SET/SLET/M.Phil/Ph.D/M.Ed in the respective subjects are exempted from passing TET (G.O.(P) No. 145/16/G.Edn. dated 30.08.2016, G.O.(P) No. 206/16/G.Edn. dated 08.12.2016, G.O.(P) No. 15/2020/G.Edn. dated 09.10.2010). 2. Candidates who have passed CTET Primary Stage can be exempted from KTET Category I and CTET Elementary Stage can be exempted from KTET Category II based on the circular No. 1866829/J3/2017/General Education dated 09.03.2018. CTET will not be accepted for KTET Category III and IV.

(i) Applications submitted by candidates belonging to the communities other than those notified will be summarily rejected. No rejection memo will be issued to such candidates. (ii) Separate Ranked Lists will be prepared in pursuance of this notification for each district and for each reserved community. Ranked List thus prepared and published by the Commission in pursuance of this notification shall remain in force until candidates are advised and appointed against all the vacancies earmarked for the above communities, remains unfilled due to paucity of candidates during the currency of the ranked list published for the posts as detailed below: Idukki - Rank List published date: 12.01.2021, Category No. 272/18 Palakkad - Rank List published date: 12.11.2020, Category No. 272/18 (iii) Candidates shall apply to any one of the districts where their respective community vacancies are available. If applications are submitted contrary to the above direction, and if selected, summary rejection of the applications will be initiated and disciplinary action will be taken. (iv) The selection pursuant to this notification will be subject to the rules formulated by the Government from time to time. (v) Written/OMR/Online test will be in Tamil. Answers have to be written in Tamil. (vi) KS & SSR Part II Rule 10 (a) ii is applicable.
