Age Limit
18-43. Candidates born between 02.01.1978 and 01.01.2003 (both dates included) are eligible to apply for this post (including the para 2(i) of General Conditions).
Qualifications
1) Pass in SSLC Examination conducted by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala or equivalent. OR A Degree in Pre-Degree obtained from any of the Universities in Kerala or any recognized University equivalent thereto. OR Pass in Higher Secondary Examination conducted by the Board of Higher Secondary Examination, Kerala or any other Examinations recognized by the Government as equivalent thereto. 2) Pass in TTC (Tamil) Examination conducted by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala. 3) Must have passed the Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test (K-TET) for this post. Exemption: NET/SET/M.Phil/Ph.D/M.Ed in the respective subjects are exempted from passing K-TET (G.O. (P) No. 145/16/G.Edn. dated 30.08.2016, G.O. (P) No. 206/16/G.Edn. dated 08.12.2016, G.O. (P) No. 15/2020/G.Edn. dated 09.10.2020).
Notes
(i) Candidates must submit applications through online registration to the official website of the Commission (www.keralapsc.gov.in). (ii) Applications submitted by candidates belonging to the communities other than those notified will be summarily rejected. (iii) Separate Ranked Lists will be prepared for Palakkad district in pursuance of this notification. The Ranked List thus prepared and published by the Commission in response to this notification shall remain in force until candidates are advised and appointed against the vacancies earmarked for the above communities, but remain unfilled due to paucity of candidates during the currency of the ranked list published for the district. (iv) Candidates shall submit applications for the post to Palakkad district and note the name of the district in the relevant column of the application. (v) The selection in pursuance of the notification will be made on the basis of a special G.O. dated 27.05.1971. (vi) Caste claimed in the application should be supported by relevant documents. (vii) KS & SSR Part II Rule 10(a)ii is applicable.
