Direct Recruitment [From candidates belonging to Scheduled Tribe community only].

18-45. Candidates born between 02.01.1977 and 01.01.2004 (both dates included) are eligible to apply. [Including para 2(i) of General Conditions]. Note: The upper age limit shall in no case exceed 50 years.

(1) A Degree in Mathematics or Statistics and B.Ed/BT degree in the concerned subject acquired from any of the Universities in Kerala or recognized as equivalent thereto. (2) Must have passed the Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test (K-TET) for this post conducted by the Government of Kerala.

(i) Candidates must submit applications online through the official website of the Commission www.keralapsc.gov.in after One Time Registration. Applications submitted otherwise will be summarily rejected. (ii) Applications of candidates not belonging to the reservation community mentioned in this notification will be rejected without any notice. (iii) A rank list will be prepared for Kasaragod district. The rank list published as per this notification will be valid until candidates are advised and appointed against the vacancies earmarked for the above community and vacancies not filled due to lack of candidates from the community. (iv) Selection is district-wise as per G.O.(MS) No. 154/71/PD dated 27.05.1971. Candidates appointed cannot be transferred to another district for five years from the date of commencement of service. (v) Candidates belonging to the Scheduled Tribe community must apply for Kasaragod district only and specify the district name in the online application.
