18-39, Candidates should born between 02.01.1985 and 01.01.2006 (both dates included) Other Backward Communities and SC/ST candidates are eligible for usual age relaxation.

(a) Educational Qualifications: SSLC or its equivalent (i) Rule 10 (a) (ii) of Part II of the KS&SSR is applicable. (ii) In addition to the qualification specified in the Notification, the qualification declared by Government through executive orders or standing orders, as equivalent to the prescribed educational qualification and the higher qualifications of the notified and prescribed basic qualifications shall be accepted. The Government Order regarding the equivalent qualification/higher qualification shall be produced as and when called for by the Commission. (b) Physical Qualifications: (i) Must have at least 165 cm height and must be minimum 81.3 cms round the chest on full exhalation and must have a minimum chest expansion of 5 cms Note:- Height of 160 cms will be sufficient for the candidates belonging to SC and ST. (ii) Eye sight:- Must be certified to possess the visual standards specified below without glasses. Vision Right Eye Left Eye (a) Distant Vision 6/6 Snellen 6/6 Snellen (b) Near Vision 0.5 Snellen 0.5 Snellen Note: 1) Each eye must have full field of vision. Colour blindness, squint or any morbid conditions of the eyes or lids of either eye will be deemed to be a disqualification. 2) Must be free from apparent physical defects like knock knee, flat foot, varicose veins, bow legs, deformed limbs, irregular and protruding teeth, defective speech and hearing. Pull-ups or Chinning 8 times 8. 1500 metres run 5 min 44 seconds Note: (i) The Physical measurement of candidates will be taken at the time of Physical Efficiency Test and those who do not possess the prescribed physical measurement will not be admitted for the Physical Efficiency Test. If accidents or injuries happened to a candidate while participating in the Physical Efficiency Test and Practical Test, he will not be given further chance to participate in the test. (ii) The tentative schedule for Physical Measurement & Physical Efficiency Test will be published on 2025 January 15. (d) Should possess a current Heavy passenger vehicle and Heavy goods vehicle Driving Licence with badge – Proficiency in driving shall be ascertained by a practical test conducted by Kerala Public Service Commission. Note: 1. Possession of Licence for driving Motor cycle shall be a desirable qualification 2. Candidates should possess a current valid Driving Licence on the entire stage of selection process as on the last date of receipt of application, OMR Test, Physical Efficiency Test, Practical Test, interview etc. 3. Candidate should produce medical certificates of eye sight and physique in the proforma as shown below at the time of Physical Efficiency Test and also these should be uploaded in their profile for verification.

(i) 50% of the vacancies of the post shall be filled up by direct recruitment and 50% by transfer in the ratio 1:1 . In the absence of qualified candidates under By Transfer category those vacancies shall also be filled up by direct recruitment. Candidates should submit separate application for Direct recruitment and by transfer recruitment. (ii) Women and Differently Abled persons are not eligible to apply for this Post. (iii) The name , age limit and Qualification of this post has been prescribed as per the provisions included in GO(P)NO.89/2014/Home dtd 06.05.2014, G.O(P)No.266/2010/Home dtd 09.12.2010 and GO(P)No.337/2012/Home dtd 28.12.2012. (iv) Separate Ranked list will be prepared for Direct recruitment and by transfer recruitment. The Ranked lists thus prepared and published by the Commission, shall remain in force for a minimum period of one year, subject to the condition that the said lists will continue to be in force till the publication of new list after the expiry of the minimum period of one year or till the expiry of three years whichever is earlier. Candidates will be advised for appointment against the aforesaid vacancies and also against the vacancies, if any reported during the currency of the lists.
