1) A degree in the concerned subject and B.Ed/B.T degree in the concerned subject conferred or recognized by the Universities in Kerala. (See note (iii) for concerned subjects). 2) Must have passed the Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test (K-TET) for this post conducted by the Government of Kerala. Exemption: 1. Candidates who have acquired CTET/NET/SET/M.Phil/Ph.D in the concerned subject or M.Ed degree in any subject are exempted from the requirement of passing KTET (G.O. (P) No. 145/16/G.Edn. dated 30.08.2016, G.O. (P) No. 206/16/G.Edn. dated 08.12.2016, G.O.(P)No.15/2020/G Edn dated 9.10.2020). 2. As per the circular No. 1866829/J3/2017/G.Edn dated 09.03.2018, CTET will be accepted as an alternative for KTET Category III and IV, but CTET Primary Stage cannot be accepted as an alternative for KTET Category I and CTET Elementary Stage cannot be accepted as an alternative for KTET Category II.

1) Candidates must be a Full Member or Approved Probationer in the Kerala General Education Subordinate Service as on the date of application. 2) Candidates must have completed the prescribed service in the posts of Clerk, Typist, Attender, Office Attender, Binder, etc., in the General Education Department as on the date of application. 3) Candidates should apply to only one district. 4) Rank lists will be prepared district-wise. 5) KS & SSR Part II Rule 10(a) ii is applicable. 6) Other detailed notes regarding equivalency, certificates, and service verification are provided in the notification.
