18-40, candidates born between 02/01/1983 and 01/01/2005 (both dates included) are eligible to apply. Candidates belonging to other backward communities, Scheduled Castes/Scheduled Tribes are eligible for usual age relaxation as per rules.

1. Must have passed 7th Standard. 2. Must know cycling. (Candidates who are differently abled and women are exempted from the qualification of knowing cycling.)

1) The vacancies reported are for the General Category. Vacancies arising in the future will be divided in 1:1 ratio between General Category (Part-I) and Society Category (Part-II). The first vacancy belongs to the General Category. Vacancies for the Society Category will be notified separately as Part-II. Reservation rules as per KS&SSR 1958 Rules 14 to 17 will be followed. 2) The Ranked List prepared will be valid for a minimum of one year and a maximum of three years. If no one is advised from the list within three years, the validity may be extended for one more year or until a new list is published, whichever is earlier. 3) Selection will be conducted at the State level. 4) Probation: Two years of service within a continuous period of three years. 5) KS&SSR Part II Rule 10 (a) (ii) is applicable. 6) Candidates must upload a photo taken after 31.12.2013. For new registrations, the photo must be taken within 6 months. The photo must have the name of the candidate and the date of taking the photo clearly recorded. The uploaded photo is valid for 10 years. 7) Candidates must confirm their participation for the exam (if conducted) through their One Time Registration profile to receive the admission ticket. 8) Aadhaar card must be provided as an identity document in the profile. 9) Candidates must produce original documents for verification when required by the Commission. 10) Any false information provided in the application will lead to rejection and further disciplinary action as per Rule 22 of the KPSC Rules of Procedure.
