Method of appointment
Direct Recruitment (From candidates belonging to Muslim Community of Kerala State only) Note : - Applications submitted by candidates belonging to the community other than the Muslim community will be summarily rejected. No individual rejection memo will be issued to such candidates.
Age Limit
(i).18-44, ie, candidates born between 02.01.1980 and 01.01.2006 (both dates included) are only eligible to apply for this post. (Including the relaxation as per Para 2(i) of the General Conditions) Note :- For concessions allowed in upper age limit, subject to the condition that the maximum age limit shall in no case exceed 50 (fifty) years, Please see Para (2) of the General Condition under Part II of this notification [except para 2(i)].
Qualifications
(i). General :- S.S.L.C. (ii). Technical :- Auxiliary Nurse Midwifery Certificate (Revised Course of 18 months durations) issued by the Kerala Nurses and Midwives Council. OR Auxiliary Nurse Midwifery Certificate/Auxiliary Nurse Midwifery Certificate (Revised Course) issued by an authority recognized by the Indian Nursing Council OR Health Workers Training Certificate issued by the Kerala Nurses and Midwives Council. (iii) Registration with the Kerala Nurses and Midwives Council.
Notes
i. In the case of candidates belonging to Other Backward Classes, the general educational qualification will be relaxed as “Completed SSLC Course”, Subject to the condition that this relaxation will be allowed only to the extent necessary to fill up the quota reserved for Other Backward Classes in the absence of qualified candidates in the Other Backward Classes respectively. ii. Rule 10 (a) (ii) of KS&SSR Part II is applicable. iii. In addition to the qualifications prescribed in this notification, the qualifications recognized by executive orders or standing orders of Government as equivalent to a qualification specified for a post, in the Special Rules and such of those qualifications which pre-suppose the acquisition of the lower qualification prescribed for the post, shall also be sufficient for the post. The copy of the Government orders declaring equivalent/higher qualifications shall be produced as and when required by the Commission.
