Direct Recruitment (From candidates belonging to Ezhava/Thiyya/Billava, Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, Muslim, LC/AI, Other Backward Communities, Viswakarma, SIUC Nadar, Scheduled Caste Converted to Christianity, Dheevara and Hindu Nadar Communities of Kerala State only) Note :- Applications submitted by candidates belonging to the community other than those belonging to the above mentioned communities will be summarily rejected. No individual rejection memo will be issued to such candidates.

(i).18-44, ie, Candidates belonging to Ezhava/Thiyya/Billava, Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, Muslim, LC/AI, Other Backward Communities, Viswakarma, SIUC Nadar, Scheduled Caste Converted to Christianity, Dheevara and Hindu Nadar Communities born between 02.01.1980 and 01.01.2006 (both dates included) are only eligible to apply for this post. (Including the relaxation as per Para 2(i) of the General Conditions) Note :- (i) In the case of candidates belonging to Adult members of Scheduled Caste and their children when such adult members are converted to Christianity the upper age limit will be 46 years, i.e, such candidates should be born between 02.01.1978 and 01.01.2006 (both dates included) (including relaxation as per para 2(i) of the General Conditions) (ii) In the Case of Candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe the age limit will be 18-46 i.e., such candidates should be born between 02.01.1978 and 01.01.2006 (both dates included). (Including the relaxation as per Para 2(i) of the General Conditions) (iii) For concessions allowed in upper age limit, subject to the condition that the maximum age limit shall in no case exceed 50 (fifty) years, Please see Para (2) of the General Condition under Part II of this notification [except para 2(i)].

(i). General :- S.S.L.C. (ii). Technical :- Auxiliary Nurse Midwifery Certificate (Revised Course of 18 months duration) issued by the Kerala Nurses and Midwives Council. OR Auxiliary Nurse Midwifery Certificate/Auxiliary Nurse Midwifery Certificate (Revised Course) issued by an authority recognized by the Indian Nursing Council OR Health Workers Training Certificate issued by the Kerala Nurses and Midwives Council. (iii). Registration with the Kerala Nurses and Midwives Council.

1. The above vacancies are now in existence. Separate Ranked Lists will be prepared for the above districts for the above communities in pursuance of this notification. NCA Ranked Lists thus prepared and published by the Commission, shall remain in force until candidates are advised and appointed against the vacancies earmarked for the above communities, but remain unfilled due to paucity of candidates during the currency of the mother ranked list published for the post in the following districts. 2. The candidates belonging to above reservation communities i.e, Ezhava/Thiyya/Billava, Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, Muslim, LC/AI, Other Backward Communities, Viswakarma, SIUC Nadar, Scheduled Caste Converted to Christianity, Dheevara and Hindu Nadar shall submit application for the post to the above district where the vacancy is existing for the community and shall note the name of that district against the relevant column of the online application. 3. The selection in pursuance of this notification will be made on a Revenue District basis, subject to the special conditions laid down in GO (Ms.) No.154/71/PD dated 27/05/1971. A candidate advised for appointment in one revenue District from the Ranked List prepared is not eligible for transfer to another District unless he/she completes five years continuous service from the date of commencement of service in the former District. Even if transfer is allowed after five years, it will be subject to the rules in G.O. (Ms.) No.4/61/PD dated 02.01.1961. Candidates already in Government service holding the same post in any one district are prohibited from applying again for this post, but they can apply to higher/lower posts when notified. 4. In the case of candidates belonging to Scheduled Tribe the general educational qualification will be relaxed as a pass in Standard VIII shall be sufficient subject to the condition that the relaxation will be allowed only in the absence of fully qualified Scheduled Tribe candidates and to the extent necessary for filling up the quota reserved for Scheduled Tribe candidates alone. 5. In the case of candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste and Other Backward Classes, the general educational qualification will be relaxed as “Completed SSLC Course”, Subject to the condition that this relaxation will be allowed only to the extent necessary to fill up the quota reserved for Scheduled Caste and Other Backward Classes in the absence of fully qualified candidates in the Scheduled Caste and Other Backward Classes respectively. 6. Rule 10 (a) (ii) of KS&SSR Part II is applicable. 7. In addition to the qualifications prescribed in this notification, the qualifications recognized by executive orders or standing orders of Government as equivalent to a qualification specified for a post, in the Special Rules and such of those qualifications which pre-suppose the acquisition of the lower qualification prescribed for the post, shall also be sufficient for the post. The copy of the Government orders declaring equivalent/higher qualifications shall be produced as and when required by the Commission.
