Direct Recruitment (Special Recruitment from among Scheduled Tribes only).
Age Limit
22 - 45. Only Candidates born between 02.01.1969 and 01.01.1992 (both dates included) are eligible to apply for this post. No other age relaxation will be allowed. Note: In the absence of qualified candidates within the age limit the upper age limit shall be relaxed up to 50 years. But in no case the maximum age limit shall exceed 50 (Fifty) years.
Qualifications
(i) Master's Degree in the concerned subject with atleast 50% marks or its equivalent and good academic record. (ii) Must have passed a Comprehensive Test in the concerned subject specifically conducted for the purpose by UGC or any agency duly constituted by the State Government in this behalf. When qualification being equal preference shall be given to those candidates who possess adequate knowledge in malayalam.
Notes
1. Candidates who have obtained Ph.D. Degree in the concerned subject or have passed M.Phil. Degree in the concerned subject by 31.12.1993 are exempted from passing the NET examination. 2. For recruitment to this post degrees awarded by the Universities recognized by UGC alone shall be considered. 3. Rule 10(a)(ii) of Part II KS&SSR is applicable to this post.
