Scheduled Caste – 14 (Fourteen)

Direct Recruitment (Only from candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes). But applications of Scheduled Tribe candidates will be considered in the absence of Scheduled Caste candidates.

22-45, Only candidates born between 02.01.1972 and 01.01.1995 (both dates included) are eligible to apply. [For other conditions regarding age relaxation please see para 2 of the general conditions, except para 2(i).]

1. Masters Degree in the concerned subject with atleast 50% marks in the case of Schedules Caste/Scheduled Tribe candidates or its equivalent and good academic record. 2. Must have passed a Comprehensive Test in the concerned subject specifically conducted for the purpose by UGC or any agency duly constituted by the State Government in this behalf. When qualifications are being equal preference shall be given to candidates who possess adequate knowledge in Malayalam.

Note : The above vacancies are now in existence. The Ranked list published as per this notification will be valid until candidates are advised and appointed against the vacancies earmarked to the above community but remains unfilled due to the paucity of candidates during the currency of the Ranked list published on 07.05.2010 for the post. This is the Fifth NCA notification for the post owing to non availability of qualified candidates belonging to the above community as per the first NCA Notification [Gazette dated 31.12.2010, Category No. 494/2010], Second NCA Notification [Gazette dated 16.07.2012, Category No. 387/2012], Third NCA Notification [Gazette dated 31.12.2014, Category No. 714/2014] & Fourth NCA Notification (Gazette dated 14.06.2016, Category No. 126/16). Note : Applications of candidates belonging to communities other than Scheduled Castes/Schedules Tribes in this notification will be summarily rejected. Individual rejection memo will not be sent to them. Note: (i) Candidates who have obtained Ph.D Degree in the concerned subject are exempted from passing the NET examination. (G.O (P) No: 86/07/H.Edn dated 19.06.2007) (ii) For recruitment to this post, under these rules Degrees awarded by the Universities recognized by UGC alone shall be considered. (iii) Rule 10 (a)(ii) of Part II of KS & SSR is applicable. 8 a) Method of submitting Applications:- Candidates must register as per 'ONE TIME REGISTRATION' with the official Website of Kerala Public Service Commission www.keralapsc.gov.in before applying for the post. Candidates who have registered can apply by logging on to their profile using their User-ID and password. Candidates must click on the 'Apply Now' button of the respective posts in the Notification Link to apply for a post. The Photograph uploaded should be taken after 31/12/2010. Name of the candidate and the date of photograph taken should be printed at the bottom portion. The photograph once uploaded meeting all requirements shall be valid for 10 years from the date of uploading. There is no change in other instructions regarding the uploading of photographs. No application fee is required. Candidates shall take a printout of the application by clicking the link Registration Card in their profile. Candidates are responsible for the correctness of the personal information and secrecy of password. Before the final submission of the application on the profile, candidates must ensure correctness of the information on their profile. They must quote the User-ID for further communication with the Commission. Application submitted is provisional and cannot be deleted or altered after submission. The application will be summarily rejected if noncompliance with the notification is found in due course of processing. Documents to prove qualifications, Age, Community etc in original have to be produced as and when called for. b) Candidates who have AADHAAR card should add AADHAAR card as I.D. Proof in their profile. "If a Written/OMR/Online Test is conducted as part of this selection, Admission Ticket for eligible candidates will be made available in their Profile for One Time Registration and the date of downloading will be included in the Examination Calendar. Candidates can download Admission Ticket for 15 days from this date. Candidates who have downloaded the Admission Ticket will alone be permitted to attend the examination." 10.
